Dealer info suggests a July 29 production date. Both of us question whether this is a true production date, wondering whether actual production timing will be similar to others that have posted, with the release date being held till later.
It'll come when it comes, but the wait is awful.

Not sure how likely the exact date is, but BMW is usually correct as to the week of production. Sounds like you'll be driving it by the end of August.

Three ships leave Bremerhaven tomorrow and I'm waiting for a boat.
Bess arrives Charleston May 3rd and the Independence II comes in May 1st. K-line also has Bosporus Highway leaving tomorrow but it doesn't hit Charleston until May 11. I have my fingers crossed. After that, it's the Porgy (4/20-5/10), Integrity (4/27-5/13), and Florida Highway (4/20-5/5). |

OK, it's coming Independence II via Baltimore, not Charleston. Seems like every time I get a new BMW, they open up a new VDC. With this car I'll have passed through each of the east coast VDC's once a piece. Well, actually twice for Baltimore if you count my Benz.

No worries on waiting for an official launch date or clearing emissions at the VPC. I stopped at the dealers' tonight and they have their launch car on the lot. Black sapphire with ivory. Looks gooooood.

why can't you pick up before thursday if the car already at the dealer? my dealer turns it around in 1 hr on arrival from VDC. |

I could have pushed for yesterday but they hadn't prepped it yet. I'm working all day today and my CA has the day off. I have my afternoon free on Thursday and he'll be back.
My 335 doesn't come off lease until the 29th, so I have plenty of time. |

I'll get some pix up tomorrow I hope. I spent 2 hours going over all the electronics with my CA. I came home and set up BMW apps and got Pandora working and figured out how to stream my iPhone music over bluetooth.
I figured out my presets (you can have up to 40) and got the garage door opener synced. Oh yeah, I did some top down driving too! |

Ordered my new 650i Coupe several weeks ago. Here is my order:
- Carbon Black Metallic - Cinnamon Brown Nappa Leather - Fine Line Oak Wood Trim - M Sport Pkg w/20" Wheels - Driver Assistance pkg - Luxury Seating Pkg - Premium Sound Pkg w/B&O System - Cold Weather Pkg (Yes I know its Houston, but the ski bag hold my fishing rods) - BMW Apps - Leather instrument panel - Full LED lighting Mid July Build and late August delivery. I Can't wait! I have loved my 750, but I keep thinking about my old M6, so time to go back to a Big Coupe! |
