Not to mention that people are probably more likely to reply if they do not have any debt.

Car loan, plus around $1,000 in credit card debt.
I buy everything with cash (if I can't pay cash for it, I can't afford it), but had to use my credit car for some unforeseen circumstances.

Paid for car from personal savings, attend school full ride

I actually can't stand to owe people money. I'd rather drive a cheap car than take out a loan for an expensive one.

If you buy everything with cash, then why do you have debt?

Why would you want to discuss personal financial information on a public forum?

Parents payed for vast majority of the BMW/all of college (like the most of you here) and I am not stupid enough to carry consumer debt on any credit cards.

I was told North Dakota is the spirit of America. Is this true?

The only time I ever had debt was in college after paying tuition and boy did I hate being in debt.

From now on, I'll only take a loan out for a home mortgage or a car if the rates are <2%. Otherwise cash for everything (ask the forum member I bought my car off, CASH!!). Not bad for a guy that paid most of his way though college himself.

Not me. Got through college and grad school with ZERO parental help. Did it by working part time jobs (at one point more 2 jobs at a time), massive amounts of student loans, and graduate school funding. Paid for all of my education and vehicles with my own money and damn proud of it
