RE: the coupes availability. This shows many for sale across the country.
Some could be sedans but there are several with actual pics of coupes. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/search...first_record=1

Without doubt THE MB I would love to have out of their current offerings.
And I am not a drop top guy, but

^ Sorry. I'm getting rusty...out of the loop a bit on what is what these days.
I think you moved to NB right? Walter's up the road had a designo roadster listed but I think one of the miserably poor in NB or CDM bought it. Been seeing some nice deals out Boo way. Big lots with nice homes on them...deal is relative here. OT: Malibu or NB/CDM better? I think Boo Boo may get too rural after awhile, but that may be what the Dr ordered. On the other hand, NB is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo freaking expensive/ CDM even more so, for what you get and the overkill of plastic lips and boobs could get old..got plenty of that here in Dallas.

And wait, did you just, oh saw that you qualified the plastic thing. Good, thought you were saying CDM or Malibu were worse than Dallas. I was going to have to use some ironic smilies and shit. |

This is Montecito: http://virtualglobetrotting.com/states/CA/Montecito/ So far, I think I like the Central Coast better than the 'Boo. The problem with living in Malibu was the PCH. It's always kind of congested. Although now I have to drive down into LA a couple times a month and it's a 1.5 hour drive. And sometimes longer when you hit all the LA County traffic in the Valley. |

Exactly. The C63 BS is a limited production run. Something like 600 or so will ever be made. I saw the SLS roadster in a Matte finish. Looked real good. I'll make sure to post pics when my coupe comes in.

I thought I remember you saying you were going to Newport Beach from Malibu. Monticeto looks pretty disgusting. That is a a bit of a clip from LA. Regarding NB/CDM. I was informed you will see so many high end cars that nothing really stands out. Bentleys are like Hondas. RE: BS wagon. I wonder if it only has two seats? HA!

Montecito looks normal at ground level, the mega-mansions are all well hidden at street level and it's a much older big money place. NB is newer (like all of the OC) and definitely more of a SoCal stereotype. Montecito is actually pretty laid back and quiet, and is a really small town and only gets OC-like when idiots like the Kardashians decide to have a TV wedding and invite all their ugly friends (tied up traffic all day, too.) It's just the right size for quiet country living with no traffic, and SB is right next door for all the usual beach town amenities. But LA is a bear to drive into now as I'm getting spoiled to the rural lifestyle, even if it is only 2x a month. When I quit work someday, I'll move even farther away and farther up the coast. |

^Sounds really nice. Just have an itch for change myself.
Heck, I'd like to get a ranchita type deal by a good wave break down Panama way but stuff is kind of loony down there. Not so much Panama but the whole Mexico insanity has me thinking...screw that mess. If they think you have anything they are probably going to try and take it. Sad because it's beautiful down there and cheap cheap.

Gonz, a friend of mine moved to Costa Rica last year so she could surf every day. She bought a decent place but said it wasn't that cheap, at least not like it used to be. Maybe that's just Costa Rica but a lot of places that are liveable without the drug dealing violence, etc., are getting pricier (or so it appears.) She seems to like it there and has great neighbors and says the locals are super friendly.

Before I lost one of my best friends, heart attack while running/crazy world, I was going to go to Costa Rica with him. He swore about the waves and people.
Another friend is building a place up in the mountains of Belize. Non surfer but I'm sure he will keep busy with his 800 sf greenhouse. The thing about a far move is getting friends and family to visit. I want away from a lot of things but not them. Just the kardasians of the world, which I'm guessing Newport is full of.
