FYI The fake ones from China contains lead poison in them.
So I went to the store and brought a pack of Marlboro and it appeared that it does not have the transparent shadow on the plastic. I feel much better now. To me it seems like Marlboro has stopped/changed their way of counterfeiting their products. So the newer batches should not have the shadow on plastic. The older real or fake Marlboros will have the shadow. Pretty sure this is a very recent change to their packaging. |

I have never heard about this. Back then when when Marlboro were doing the 5 miles thing it was easy to spot a fake. But if you have been smoking for 15 years or whatever you can easily tell if it's fake or not.

^ yeah, i'd assume fakes would taste different. i could be mistaken though since i've never smoked fakes. B class from south of the border, yes, but no fakes.
