Awesome Dave. When I was there last summer it was about 3ft smaller and 30 ft closer to shore. Wish I would have seen it going of like that.

Ahhh, real waves. I have some like that but of Mavericks in Half Moon Bay, CA. but the break is some 3/4 mile out and they were towed in. ( note to self, buy 500mm lens).

I was thinking that the diptych was sort of like a haiku, with two images.
summer's spicy fruit brilliant red pepper damn feathered devil sunny blue freedom swiftly across the wave a watery doom
