shah, when it comes to women and marriage, you think like a 23 year old jock. I don't foresee you'll ever find any sustainable happiness with women carrying the mindset you have, but maybe you don't want something fulfilling and long term, and the sex is all you want. That's fine too, I'm not going to judge.

But as a poster, you're pretty funny, and I hope you keep posting. It makes this forum just a bit more entertaining.

Well there is the way we are online and they way we are in life.
Seldom are they the same?
when it comes to women, i've lived i've learned and i've been around.
And that's good and bad.

But my conversation with my friend was regarding finding an educated career driven women to date and see if things turn out ok?
Finding the random hook up is not difficult. A simple “Hi how are you” pick up line will open more doors than you can shake a stick at.
And dressing well and smelling well and not spending the entire conversation looking at a girls tits will also help.

The crux of this thread, before it became a shit tornado, was yes finding the random hook up is easy but if you are looking for an educated, career minded and athletic women out in the burbs you may be looking for a very long time and she may be looking for you as well. And my friend who was in the same predicament back in the early 2000’s before okcupid or match.com utilized an executive dating service.
He subsequently met his wife that way. She had graduated with a MS in I think manufacturing and had a career and is frankly an amazing women. And I agreed with my friend that of the various women I have dated, that the women who had higher lever degrees were just a joy to date. Not only was the sex amazing….but the conversations and the debates were….perfect.

Ever try and discuss economics with a woman who’s career goal is to be assistant manager of the Guess?

So I googled executive dating and my god…talk about creepy! And the reviews! You would think these people were drop kicking kittens into wood chippers and stealing money from needy old ladies! And I was wondering if anyone had any experience with them? Since I know nothing about such services other than that train wreck of a show millionaire match maker.

never tried it but if you're looking for smart and athletic chicks why don't you cruise your local colleges and universities. They're always throwing parties there. You might get lucky nad probably have better chances than any online dating services. I don't know, just a thought.

I'm resisting all temptation here by posting a real response to this but having the OP be such a good sport through all of this makes me kind of like him in the same way that I strangely liked Christof Waltzs character in Inglorious Basterds.

You may fall into a trap of finding someone who is too career oriented and when you decide to have kids, she'll want to be right back at work and not focused on actually being a parent. I do agree with MediaArtist that you nothing like a guy in his late 30s and everything like a college senior in need of some poon.

Yeah, you should probably clear that up with any of the CEO/CFOs you're trying to date. Many of them have the same maternal desires/instincts any regular woman has and some have simply put off having children until their careers have advanced enough for their own standards.

Just from my own anecdotal experience through friends, family, and associates. I think specifically targeting what you want in a woman, and disregarding those without the specific qualities you're looking for is a quick route to failure. Most of the time those people end up old, single, and lonely. Why? Because what they want isn't often what they need, and they tend to pass up what could have been a natural, organic, relationship ripe for success, in the lame hope of pursuing some fantasy that has no chance for success.

I call it Google Syndrome. People get too specific in their searches, and end up getting very little positive results. Successful relationships aren't about being calculative, in fact, those people are the ones I see failing the most. They're about chemistry and the ability for two sides to develop naturally and not artificially.

I think the Desert Rose is one of the most beautiful flowers in the world. But back when I lived in Seattle, I tried bringing a pot back with me, and they always died. I must have brought back 2-3 pots over the course of a few years and every time, they died in days. It ends up Seattle has far too much moisture in the air for these flowers to thrive, hence why they flourish in arid deserts. You can't fight nature shah, you just can't. Sometimes things were meant to be together, and sometimes, nothing you can do can keep them together.

That's why I think these "themed" dating sites are a big waste of time.

Thank you.....really thank you.....I'm going to have to think about this.
God it's this freakin economy. If my condo were not under water by $100K+ i would care less if the girl had an education or not or a job and would/could just chill and relax and date to enjoy life.....

But you know seeing what I owe and what the place is under by and all the other financial pressures.....would it be silly andd asking for too much if i said I just want to find a girl who has her shit together?

I mean shucks the girls in the burbs are in their 30's...and some education....career....as in the mall?

Nailed it! Haha. But on a serious point, do you really need to ask this kind of stuff on a forum instead of talking to your friends in real life about it? And one should never praise themselves. There is always someone better than you out there. Always.

Well I'm in my mid 30's and well.....when you are in your mid 30's a good number of your friends are either recently married, recently married trying every night to have kids, or recently have kids and are getting no sex or any sleep.

Ever try to talk to your friend who hasn't gotten any sex in 9 months your problem with having sex with mid 20yo women?
Ever try to talk to your friend who has been up for 12 months straight and changes shit filled papers 14 times per night about the lack of well educated women online?

Yeah goes over like a led ballon.....catches on fire and crashes into a buss full of nuns which then runs over a dozen baby kittens.

So it becomes a do it your self kind of world.

Unless you are fortunate enough to be living in a major city. Which I'm not. So I asked. You never know or will ever learn anything unless you ask.
