average acura age is probably much younger
all those assclowns who upgraded from riced out civics (anc can't afford a BMW) are amazingly closed minded, and can't drive for shiznit if they can't tell the difference in handling between the 2 cars |

Nikki: Were your posts on Acurazine in the TSX community? I posted there a few times and they are not friendly. When I had my TL, I frequent the TL community and they were very friendly and still are even after I got my E90. I still visit the TL community and the off topic community a few times a day. But not as much as I spend here at E90.
A lot of members there drive different makes besides Acura or Honda. Majority of the members there are nice. There will always be haters on any forum. Just ignore them.

Perhaps it's because of the way TSX is that made its owners so insecured and easily offended. Because from the impression I got, the TSX was trying to be performance-oriented or at least "sporty", but the power and the engine just couldn't keep up with the rest of the image, so I bet the owners get picked on a lot thus developed a natural instinct to attack anyone and everyone else that comments about their cars but owns something else.

I know it's Acurazine. They have different communities for different models; TL, RL, TSX...etc.

That's why my post was directed at Nikki. I wanted to be sure.
Some communities at Acurazine have nicer members than other communities at Acurazine. The TSX community does not have that much friendly members.

Funny story I will share from today.
I'm driving home and there is a young kid behind me in a modified Acura RSX. He's tailgating me and talking on his cellphone. A Lexus suv is on my right and slightly in front of me and speeds up a little and puts his/her left blinker on to get over, so I let off of the gas and let the suv in and apparently Mr. RSX behind me was too busy talking on his cell phone to realize that I had slowed down, since I didn't use my brakes (I love manual trannys), and he was now very close to me. As the suv was getting in front of me the kid in the RSX started slamming on his horn for some reason. Like how dare I let someone with their signal on get in front of me? Or how dare I slow down without using my brakes? Whatever his problem was, he didn't lay off the horn until the suv was now turning left (the reason why he/she needed to get over) and then Mr. RSX skid right and went to pass me. Big mistake. I pressed down my pedal halfway when I was going about 30mph in 4th gear and the BMW took off leaving the poor RSX kid in my dust and forcing him to get back behind me. Aww, poor RSX kid.

Slowing down without your brakes is just asking for trouble.
Obviously if you ever get rear-ended, it's always the fault of the ass clowns behind you. However, just braking with the engine is just asking to be rear-ended - do you not care about your new ride? Just use the brakes so that young ass realizes you're slowing down. Especially when he's talking on a cellphone... |

Just to clarify, I didn't do it on purpose, that's just how I slow down.
It's not like when I let off of the gas going 30mph in 4th gear the thing holds back much, it just gradually slows down.
