So Tebow signed with the Patriots. I hope he gets a chance to prove himself. I at least deserves a shot. I would love to see him do well and have it thrown in Rex's face. How the hell did you not give the guy a chance when your QB sucked!??!

However, the following week he was exposed by his new team, the Patriots, in a 45-10 game that wasn't competitive. Tim Tebow is a great athlete that can be an offensive factor on the football field. The way the Patriots use their tight ends out of the back field, I'd be willing to be you'll see TT line up next to Tom Brady in the shotgun more than once this year. Belichick will make this fun. |

heres my thoughts on Tebow, most quarterbacks dont come off of college beasting like cam newton..they take development, drafting a QB is an investment for the long run. With that said this poor guy never had a shot in New York or anywhere else because he had no mentor or coaching staff that was outstanding. Tebow will NEVER bench Brady but he will replace him, Brady will mentor him and teach him and when he is ready to move on Tebow will be ready, imo i think that is what will happen and what should have happened since day 1.

I don't think Tebow is the future qb in New England. He has a lot of very special talents on the field, but throwing isn't one of them. Since this is a pass heavy league they can't make him a franchise qb. I think the Pats will use him in smart ways and fully utilize his potential in other areas. Wouldn't be surprised to see him play some TE, FB, and definitely special teams. Also remember how he was used his freshman year at Florida as a backup to Chris Leak. Think goaline and short yardage situations... why run a qb sneak with Brady and possibly get him hurt, you now have a Tebow for those things.

I just would like to see Tebow get a chance. If he shows that he can't do it a few years later then we'd have our proof. Until then, I still believe that he never truly had an opportunity to do anything.

when tebow was drafted i predicted jimmy clausen would outplay him in 3 years. oh well, they both suck nothing to feel bad about though, i'd still rather be nfl practice squad than sell toyotas etc. if i was either of em i'd just save my money, forget football, and mack some hoes with the nfl line. That idiot Rex should have benched Sanchez after the fourth game. Not like Tebow would've been any worse. IMO Sanchez is the joke of Franchise QBs

He better be willing to do whatever the patriots need him to do or his a$$ will be out of the league.

I guess with Hernandez going to prison for life and Gronk out with back problems, Tebow will be the new Welker hopeful. Brady is running out of targets.

Tragic? Really? If he's at all involved he's scum. The tragedy is what happen to his victim. Shot down in cold blood for talking to the wrong people. Now Hernandez has become a suspect in a double homicide last year in Boston. Odin may have had info connecting Hernandez to that killing.

Hes the new TE for the PATS Hernandez looking at 3 Homicides. Seems his religious practices after every play finally payed off. HAHA but no ESPN hyped him up to be the next best thing and it turned out to be hog wash.

I grew up 3 houses down from Aaron. He was a friend for years but i dont doubt for one min that hes not at least mostly guilty. Funniest part about it was my dad was our little league coach. He always used to tell aaron to stop spitting his gum out everywhere, it was his bad habbit. If he had just listened to my dad and broke that habbit back then, they might not have found his DNA at he scene. lol
As for Tebow, i think he deserved more of a chance but i think hes going to the do very well as a TE. Im a Giants fan but ill be watching some Pats games this year to see how he does. |

He's good as a 3rd string QB. Brady will start for at least 5 more seasons with the Pats. They should have tebow run the ball if he's not going to be throwing. It'd give him a good chance to learn the team and the plays from the other side.
he's not great now but I think under Brady's team he has a good chance for some serious development. It's his potential not how he is now that got him his NE contact. |

Well, NE just released him today. Apparently they have to cut 12 people by 6pm tonight.
So we should change the thread title to "What's the new deal for Tebow?" Not really sure where he will go now as a free agent...coach high school?
