In April of 2001 I Purchased an AP1 S2000. Silverstone with red leather. Loved that car. It had the best six speed manual of any car I have driven. Light and tossable the car handled like a dream and had a wonderful OEM exhaust note. I drove it like I stole it and never game me a single problem. Saw one in Boston this weekend. It literally made me depressed for the rest of the day. |

I would still be driving my 2006 Lancer Evolution IX today if it had not been stolen from me. Such an agile car that had plenty of power, but I did hate the negative attention I got from ricers and cops.

There was nothing wrong with it. I was just worried about the miles creeping up to 100k. I traded it in for a 2001 740iL which became a maintenance nightmare and nearly drove me into the poorhouse. Should have held onto the E39.

I migrated back to HK and sold my 1.5 Blitz Supercharged Echo to my Buddy.
Also had a Close Ratio 4.3 FD 5MT. A lot of shocked faces when the light goes green. Unfortunately some lady eventually T-boned it, and the blower went to another friend. And yes it's BMW Carbon Black

1998 BMW M-Roadster Estoril Blue
First BMW and an excellent car. Sold it in 2002 for a stupid WRX. Haunted me for over 10 years, finally got one again 2 months ago. Super Happy.

My 'ol 1992 MKII GTI 16V 2.0L.
This isn't my car, but the same color "Montana Green" riding on BBS wheels. Had Recaro seats, and an ABT wing. |

It's funny how many s2000 drivers that are here. For me of course its my 1994 firebird forumla convertable. Was red also. Amazing south florida car. I had intake/chip/exhaust on it also. It was retarded fast and sexy. I sold it when i went away to college because it had 110k miles on it and I wanted something I didn't have to worry about. It was mint though. Sold it to a european guy that was shipping it over there.

I regret getting rid of my 3000GT. It wasn't the most reliable car and took a lot of upkeep but it was my first car and I spent a lot of time tracking down one I could afford while I was in high school. The 3000GT/Stealth community was also a great group of people and I went to a lot of meets and gatherings with them. I always thought it would be cool to keep my first car forever, but its not a practical dream.
I regret getting rid of it, but I still would rather have my Bimmer.

Funny, I sold my M Coupe last year and have been looking for a fun weekend car to replace it, but haven't been able to decide between a Boxster Spyder, the new Boxster or a BRZ. But in the search, I keep coming back to my second choice when I bought my M Coupe, you guessed it, an AP1 S2000. I'm deep into analysis paralysis and can't make a decision, and all of you piping up about missing them isn't helping a thing.

Modified 02 NSX and modified 07 Z4MC. But honestly the NSX looks great on the outside but the interior was pure shit.

I miss my 2000 S2000... The top was tattered and there was a cut in the plastic back window, but I loved how that car drove, completely stock. *siiiiigh* If it was up to me, I would have just held on to that car as a daily and had my fun car for... well... fun.

E39 M5 Imola Red with full Dinan cat back exhaust. "The Beast". Sold it when my wife was pregnant with our first child. Now that I have 3 boys and don't need to shuttle them around in my car I'm back in a BMW.
