I'm not sure how some of you sleep with yourselves at night. He did some crazy things and put many people's lives in danger. That part I openly admit. Should he have been locked up behind bars? I'd go as far as to say yes.

However, no one deserves to die. You may not have agreed with the choices he made, but he never took anyone's life and he was the only one to leave this world as the result of his (or his friend's) actions.

Mmmmm, we don't know that he never hurt anyone else. He could have easily caused dozens of crashes with his driving.

Assuming that he didn't hurt anyone else though, do you disagree that it was only a matter of time before he did? Don't get me wrong I'm not congratulating the guy for dying or anything but this really is the best-case scenario.

It's a different kind of thrill on the street vs track. It's not that he's good. It's that the general public is way, way bad. I don't blame him. As long as people like him don't kill any of my relatives or friends, I couldn't care less.

You're absolutely right. If the entirety of the general public drove the way he did on public roads, I don't see how anything bad could come of it.

He was only able to do these maneuvers because of the predictability of the other drivers on the road (read: obeying traffic laws).

To wish death upon someone or say something like "good riddance" is just plain cruel.

To say that "it was only a matter of time before he did." There's a movie about such things called Minority Report. It's a science fiction movie about people who are charged with crimes BEFORE they commit them.

He’s no worse than half the videos people post on here of the Texas Mile street races. Those guys are doing 150+ on public highways and having to use the shoulder in order to avoid hitting people. Do they all deserve to die too? In my opinion they deserve to be off the streets and behind bars.

It would be very different if we were discussing going after living street racers and charging them all with murder whether or not they had killed others. Actually I've seen some people on here suggest that before, but I don't see anybody doing it right now.

People who see jail as a real source of punishment tend to stay out of jail to begin with, but maybe it actually would have stopped him. For still-living street stunters I absolutely agree, better to lock them up than to have anyone die. However with him already dead we can't very well discuss how he might have been rehabilitated by jail.

Also, he didn't die because he "deserved" it or because e90post willed it or because someone has a bunch of chicks floating in a pool who foresaw him killing innocent people. He died because he continuously put himself in that position. This time he was pushing someone else to do the same stuff from the passenger seat. The odds just caught up to him. Play with fire, get burned etc.; it's unfortunate but it was inevitable. I don't think it's unreasonable or being a shitty person to be thankful that he was (supposedly) the only one to die as a result of his actions.

I'm thankful he didn't take any innocent people just going about their day with him. That's like taking risky driving and then doubling it.

Edit: WTF were the Arab guys in that first video doing? It looked like they were intentionally trying to roll their cars. The spectators were just as stupid.

The fact that he never killed anyone is a miracle in itself. He might not have ever hit a car, but who knows how many accidents he caused with his reckless behavior. If someone drives drunk all the time but never killed anyone or caused an accident, does that make it ok?

This guy is the epitome of the saying "Play stupid games, win stupid prizes." I certainly wouldn't have wished death on him, but it's not like he didn't eventually have it coming...

BUT, I'd say the folks above would be justified in saying that he deserved to die, IF he either (a) directly killed or significantly injured another person with his driving (but wasn't documented), or (b) caused an accident that killed or significantly injured another person.

Thank you! Everyone on here is acting like they never did something slightly crazy while driving at some point in there lives. I guess we should all be shot dead immediately following said incident. Jail yes, 6 feet under for reckless driving... very harsh.

On another note OP was talking about his driving skills which are unquestionably crazy good. He could easily have been a stunt driver for Hollywood where the same people here would be dick riding hard core on the mans abilities. Sad his life had to end in a PASSENGERS seat of all places...
