As much as I don't care for the NFL, I think the Cardinals are actually the best team right now. Nobody can seem to stop them, and Kyler has been outperforming almost every QB in the league right now

I think that Jaylon became expendable when Parsons met expectations and Vander Esch seemed to be healthy. Besides, he was due a $9M bonus soon and he'll always be branded an injury risk from the previous knee injury.

He hasnt been very good the last couple seasons.

There was hope it was just Nolan's scheme last season that he struggled with, but even in Quinn's system he was having issues. And only playing about 1/4 of the snaps.

Add in his $9mill guarantee for next season if hes injured or needs surgery, and best to cut him now before that happens. With Neal coming off the Covid list, Kearse playing more of a hybrid LB/S role, and Cox starting to see more time, he was the odd man out. I can see them not re-signing LVE this offseason as well.

TBH I was pleasantly surprised at Geno Smith's poise when he was thrown into the game. He drove them all the way down the field from the 2 yard line for a score. Actually did a bit better than RW due to injury so clearly he was hurting enough to where they had to make a rare swap with the backup. Almost never happens. Of course that final possession Smith threw an INT on the first play. End of game. Their D is atrocious.

Time for Pete Carroll to go! Take f'n Ken Norton Jr. too!

One other thing pissing me off about the Seahawks is Jamal Adams. This MF'er is the highest paid safety in the NFL and has done jack shit so far this season. So he gets paid and then disappears. He was roasted several times last night.

hes never been a good coverage safety. Hes more of a safety/linebacker type of player that is best in the box and blitzing. Jets knew this, seahawks havent quite figured it out yet

Yeah he showed his strength last season and now they have for some inexplicable reason failed to let him rush the passer. He doesn't have a single sack so far in the first 5 games they've played. As I said earlier, they need to get rid of Pete Carrol and Ken Norton Jr. Clueless idiots.

Cam Newton. Hell no! Geno actually looked good until that pick to end the game but it wasn't really his fault because Lockette fell down on that play.

Speaking of Shanarat Jr - I went to the '94 Super Bowl, Niners vs Chargers. I sat directly behind Shanarat Jr, his trophy wife mother, and hot sister. Shanarat Sr was a 49er assistant that year (as was Pete Carroll), that dominant 49er season helped catapult him to his first head coaching job.
