But why does their personal relationship matter? I don't care who likes whom.

Put plainly, Max is an incredible driver, but he's an asshole to his teammates. Gasly and Albon were never a threat to him, but Checo and Ric both threatened him, and he pulled shit that deteriorated their relationship. Forced Ric to leave the team. Perez is willing to deal with it. Good luck to RB to find another driver to replace Checo, it's why he's been there for 3 years...

I never really dug into what is or isn't included, I just assumed it was because well, why wouldn't it be. Regardless, it would still be super costly to put another championship contender as Max's teammate, and as I posted above, all that would do is create a terrible relationship between drivers.
