you know what's pleasantly surprising? pau looked pretty awful tonight, yet he managed 10-20fg, 16 boards and 6-6ft. imagine if his defense was on and he wasn't made of marshmallows

Gasol hasnt been mentally in games lately..i'm sure he's physically drawn and probably mentally exhausted; he's probably coasting right now since he knows that the lakers will be in the playoffs and play thru May. On the other hands, otehr contenders are stepping up their game to secure homecourt, and it's what the lakers really need...they won't repeat or 3peat if they don't have homecourt in the Finals...I did predict they'd flame out in the WCF..probably against SA. But, we'll see how they perform tomorrow.

Hell yeah they are better. Blake is over rated. Sasha and Farmar made clutch 3 pointers and played aggressive defense. Sasha averages better RPG and 3 point %.


Jerry West pretty much sums it up:

"If there's a loose ball now, how often do they get to it? The reason you can't play defense is because you can't"
