Killer shot, Dave. Who needs a telescope, right?
Did you manually fine tune the focus or was that straight AF?

Damn you, Dave! Killer shot. Nice work. I think I can even see the Transformers hiding out in the large crater near the lower right of the pic.

Had the kids out late last night for some picture taking...lots and lots to edit, but here's a few for you.
Mini sitting underneath the Ft Duquesne Bridge overlooking the point. Bright lights in the reflection under the door handle is PNC Park...where some semi-pro baseball team plays. I've done a tiny amount of editing (although this is HDR), looking to remove the fence behind the car and clean up the pic a little. This is a shot of the point from an overlook. I worked it a little too quick and will need to try some editing again. The boats are and issue as they were in all different positions in the pictures... And a picture of the Ohio River and new casino.

I surprised they didn't arrest you for suspicious activity. Taking pictures in public places is the sign of a terrorist, don't you know.

Tim, I got a project for you (if you choose to accept), since I consider you a pro when it comes to night photography
Every time I fly into NYC at night and I look out the window while the plane is landing, the skyline reminds me of Gotham City, and I love that eerie, dark, ominous feeling. Let's see if you can capture something like that in a photo.

Thanks.
Yeah, the 5D MkII is pretty amazing in low light. There is some NR applied in DxO, but nothing crazy. Dave

Pictures like this, are they a hit or miss?
The original pictures were so orange from the street lights, it just looked horrible in anything but B&W. I thought it would be interesting to retain some of the car's color though.

I wouldn't do selective coloring.
