So Excel peeps: how do I make the contents of a column that contains the name of the exported file actually be the link to the file so I (or the judge) can pull up the images of the checks direct from each line? It has to somehow include ".\" so it can travel as a folder across thumb drives.

Does right click --> insert hyperlink --> *select your file* serve this purpose for you? Not 100% with what you're trying to achieve with the naming convention.

I don't want to have to select them all individually, they are already in a column as the name of the associated file, but they aren't currently a link, just text..

The .\ is "current folder" so I don't end up selecting "C:\my user profile\documents\subfolder\subfolder\filename" which the judge may not have on his computer.

I seriously wanted to make a comment regarding the judge, goats and you, but I'm standing strong against temptation.

I'm not certain you can do what you want to do, to be honest. Someone more talented than me perhaps will know. The only thing I could think of would be to save the images to the USB key first and then create the file links to the USB key images. But I'm not even sure that would work, because depending on what USB devices are used on the computer it is going to, it could rename the USB key used from say E:\ to F:\ and I'm not sure if the links would still be valid then. Sorry - only idea I could come up with.
