really hoping the rumor about lawson replacing danny after singapore is true.
i really like what the young drivers have been bringing everytime they get a chance, makes me hate all the drivers that are doing nothing but taking up a seat... bottas, zhou, ocon, danny, stroll, etc.

I'd love to see Lawson replace Ric this year, but as others said, I don't think it's going to happen. Ric is getting a pretty big salary, and I don't know if there's an out for RB to drop him mid-season and not have to pay him out. I'd bet with what McLaren did to him, he'd be sensitive to any language that wouldn't guarantee his salary. Unless Lawson could come in with funds to pay out Ric, bringing tons of money like what Colapinto did, I doubt the switch will be made this calendar year.
