Exciting stuff. That was a game of mistakes, some of them more egregious than others. In the end, Uruguay won because they made less mistakes, and because of one incredibly important hand ball from Suarez that knocked out what would have otherwise been Ghana's winning goal. Still, Ghana can blame only themselves (or at least Gyan) for not putting the resulting penalty in the back of the net.

soccer has some stupid rules. they should have counted that handball as a goal it was complete bullshit

lmaoo nice user name. But they booted the guy off the field and gave a penalty kick. Which you gotta be a complete retard to miss like that. Either way this was one of the most exciting games I watched and I've seen almost all of them.

Absolutely. Just like the 'advantage rule'. It wasn't a legitimate win, and I was rooting for them. But that penalty miss was a major f**k up indeed.

I was only half serious. Yes he's at fault, but it can happen to anyone. He showed some real courage to step back up to the line just a minute later and put one in the back of the net.

Uruguay has a problem without Suarez. Though Suarez is an enormous actor sometimes, he is one of the best if not the best player in the Dutch football competition 2009-2010....

We'll see this thursday at 20.30 cet.

If we can beat Brazil we can do much more I think.

How was it not a legitimate win? Gyan was given a penalty, which is a free goal unless the shooter fucks up, which he did.
