So true. I'm guilty of switching after 20 years of living in the Bay Area, but I was born in SF so I justified my change of allegiance. At least after I made the conversion it was complete. I don't like the Dodgers or the Lakers. No sitting on the fence for me.

He just needs to go assemble a super team this offseason. Trade Love, shumpert, smith- and upgrade. He's Lebron James. People will want to go play with him. Buck up.

Well, I'm a college football fan. So there's even less room for error. In the BCS era, 1 loss would mean no Championship. Talk about every game counting for something

Melo, lol...zero defense, zip, zilch, nada. He also slow and lazy, good luck keeping up with run and gun.

You'll get a team back in a couple of years. By then KD will only be 31 or so. I can see him going back "home" and building a franchise around him. |

Again, why not? Except Westbrook doesn't have bitch-assness in his blood. I say Lebron, Paul George, jimmy butler Westbrook and Chris Paul counter the Warriors. Seems fair to me.

I'd rather take Westbrook, if I'm being 100% honest. He's got that killer instinct.

So how many seasons left for Lebron in Cleveland? They have been saying Chris Paul, D Wade, Lebron, Melo want to play together before their careers are over. That isn't happening in Cleveland.

Well he is LeBrons boy so he'll believe Melo can help but yeah, he is 32 and heading downhill. Wade would have to take a huge pay cut but he is old too. As for GSW, I can see Thompson leaving whenever his contract is up to be the number one option on another team (plus a max deal).

I really only see lebron going to a place where a coach is key.
He has never had a HOF type of coach. It would be the smart thing to do because keeping up with the warriors takes a great coaching strategy, not necessarily 4 all stars. The only two coaches in the league that I would consider capable of that are Pop and Brad Stevens. Celtics are in prime position to make moves... Lakers could be interesting since Walton is out there. They have lots of young talent they could trade to Cleveland for Lebron. Then pick up PG and Westbrook. I would root for that team. |

This is really somewhat the NBA's fault because they don't really regulate team rosters outside of salary and luxury caps... I would set a rule where you cannot have more than 1 allstar on a team etc., etc... maybe no one would like that but hell it would once again be a competitive league... I mean Golden State I could at least see but who tf would even remotely care about Cleveland outside of people in Cleveland... Lebron should really be the only relevant guy on that team, he is a Cleveland native. The NBA should have never allowed the Durant trade... plain and simple.
Also, as a Miami guy... we need one key role player with playoff experience to change things around... PG13 is imho a solid option but we'd gladly take Lebron back as well lol. |

On the other hand, he will likely continue to lose finals at the hands of the warriors unless things change and he is currently 3-5 which would worsen and be held against him. And he has said in the past he would rather go home early than go all the way to the finals and lose. For those reasons, I could see him going out west. |

Can't imagine how the city of Cleveland would take it the second time around, if LB were to leave. I truly don't think he would go to the Western Conference. For the simple reason, I can't see him going to the finals consecutive year's, like he can in the East.

If he does leave he'll most likely stay in the L(E)ast. Why go to the west and battle with the Spurs/Warriors? Unless he joined the Spurs (which they cannot afford him unless they make drastic trades to clear $$$) he would be getting eliminated in the 3rd round every year. Or like I mentioned before he took his talents to SF and joined the Warriors but like he said yesterday, he doesn't believe in super teams.
