JK!

Asian themed party? Could I invite all of my neighbors? Will be interesting to see what they will interpret as an "Asian themed party" as the large majority of them are white.

I am just observant and have lived in areas that are heavily Asian populated.

When you went to a Korean house were you like, "um...why you got an extra fridge in the garage?"

There's a negative stereotype about driving habits.

One time last summer, I was behind a Corolla, and it moved into the intersection to make a left turn. When the light turned yellow, then red, the person just stayed where they were, even after being honked at by me, and the traffic coming from the Corolla's left. The vehicle was completely blocking the right lane of the southbound traffic, and the person would not budge, until the light turned green again.

The driver was Asian. Is there any reason for it? I had an Asian friend once tell me that he believes it's because they did not learn to drive until a later age, whereas many Americans learned at age 16-17. Is this true?

I've never heard this theory. I got my license the day I turned 16.

yes a lot of the bad Asian driver stereotypes come from the fact that they are in fact new drivers...
(However only really applies to areas where there are a lot more FOBs rather than areas with high concentration of 2nd Gen and later)

Also have you been to Asia and tried to drive?

Most ppl in developed countries dont bother since its so congested and they know how to make public transit that actually works.

In poorer countries a normal person cant afford a car and or its an absolute free for all that makes sense when you watch how Asians here drive...

but again bad driving etiquette is not a racially exclusive thing as M386 mentions... plenty of shit drivers of ........ race.

I'm coming out of a left hand turn called the bus stop. Hence the counter to the right on the right edge of the track. Heading into riverside which is a right hand sweeper. Same as this turn in my vid below. 2 off right 2 off left catch patch of asphalt keep going!

Here's the same turn except some dude was in the middle of the track stopped and facing me so had to lift and spin off to avoid. The "mud run"

If da Asian driver can't see you in a mirror, you don't exist!

No seriously, that's how they learn to drive, at least in Korea. They are not taught to turn and look. They use the mirrors and that's it. Now i'm no pro driver or anythinggg, but i'm pretty damn good, and i'm also pretty sure these kinds of habits wont help the "stereotype".

I taught my K-Wife (soon to be ex but that's another thread) to drive here in Murica, so I did my part motherfuckers.
