Having a bit of one probably not know to many here, Clydeside Stobcross. Really good for the price and lack of age, relatively new distillery.

I happen to have a vested interest in this one, so this is a shameless plug.

The photo is their new line of 100 proof single barrel offerings. Four Roses has 10 recipes they use (two different mash bills and five different yeast strains). I think they soon are adding two more new mashbills, so it'll jump to 20 different recipes.

They used to only have one 100 proof offering, which was the OBSV, but a few months ago they announced and you are seeing the new line of 100 proofers (OBSF, OESO, and your OESK). The other recipes will come out, I think they are doing 3-4 of these rotating a year.

If you get a chance to get the Barrel Proof versions, they are EXCELLENT!

I've also learned about their "Tier System". This depends on what row the barrels were stacked on vertically. Different heights produce different characteristics. This stuff is very intriguing. So much so... I'm looking into creating my own spirit and brand. 🥃

I just tried this for the first time at a relative's house a few months ago. It's never going to make the Best Whiskey list, but it was surprisingly tasty. Definitely not the worst booze that has crossed my lips. I limited myself to one drink. I was afraid if I drank to many Fireballs I'd be tempted to go out and get a tattoo.
