Loved the fast paced game, both teams could fly. I think once Ben Biship went out in that game - Pens thought they automatically won. Doesn't quite work like that, you still need to play.

Will state this...I really liked Coop's post game interview. He doesn't get drawn in to all the BS. When the one reporter asked a question about Johansson hit, he stated it was a trap question, and wouldn't fall in to that trap. Other NHL coaches should take notes...cause that's how you do it.

Needless - I would think there's going to be a few suspensions/fines passed out today.

Didn't watch the game--only feed from NHL.com, but based on stats the Pens played better. Going to be real tough for Tampa to win this series without him. Then again sometime teams step up big when they know the backup is in. The next game will be really telling.

Should be a crazy intense series with Sharks and Blues. By the numbers these teams are very evenly matched...would almost expect most of the games to go into OT and the series to go 7 games. Neither team has won a cup and Blues played for one in 1970. Just hoping for the Sharks to come out of St. Louis tied at minimum.

Sharks really needed to score on that last pp...especially after the time out. Taking the tripping call in the offensive zone after that was a killer. Sharks let that game slip away...

Once again, did not see the game only the live feed--sounds like the Sharks played good, had a couple bad breaks and just didn't quite get the win. That's hockey. Hopefully, that doesn't bring them down mentally. Tomorrow, will be telling and I will be watching that one.

The last 4 minutes of the game I was able to see, they were pushing hard for the goal. Hit the post, crazy bounce that DIDN'T hit the back of the keeper and go in would have evened things up

Berglund says that last nights game was the worst one they have played in the playoffs...hmm...guess if they play any better we are in trouble...well..guess were already in trouble since we lose when they play their worst.

guy finally decided to make an appearance. just in the nick of time, too...it would've been real ugly had they dropped the first 2 at home. hate to say that I'm rooting for Pittsburgh ever, but I got some decent money to win if they take this one in 6 games and if Crosby will actually be himself this series.

Good stuff--enjoyed watching the Sharks play a great game. Killing that 4 minute penalty was huge. The Blues looked a little slow--I kind of got a sense that Hitchcock did not have an answer for the speed and energy of the Sharks. And if the Sharks can continue with the depth and scoring coming from all 4 lines they can pull this one out.
Got the much needed split, now if the Sharks can take both at home--the outcome looks pretty good.
