LA fans, your Lakers almost lost to the lowly Bobcats...again. Remember that scrape by win at Staples a few months back to the same Bobcats but without Nash?
That being said, Stern will make sure the Lakers make the playoffs so once again LA teams don't look stupid burning millions to build up a team of superstars that most of the time amount to nothing. Dodgers - FAIL Lakers - Failing Clippers - Cheers! & I don't know shit about Hockey, but I would assume the Kings should get back on track? PHX vs. LAL - obvious answer you may think, but LAL wins for sure. (they lost to PHX @PHX last game) now to a harder one. LAL v. Clippers on TNT Thursday. LAL wins

First: the new D'Antoni offense that was the problem. Second: "Hell, we don't have Nash" Third: "Lakers don't play any D" Fourth: "Kobe scores too much, doesn't facilitate" Fifth: "Kobe's facilitating too much, were not scoring" Sixth: "Ah, forget it, let's just blame Dwight for being a baby, soft, not hitting his free throws, ruining team chemistry" The MEDIA loves it.

NBA, where miracles happen lol
I strongly believe they will make the playoffs. Long shot, but shit happens. Besides, the real ball starts after all-star break. That's why Heat have just been cruising along...lazy bastards lol

Im just gonna put it out there, Lakers are better with Kobe not scoring at all or benched. It all comes down to how important Kobe feels about a W on the board and having less than 10 pts. I bet he feels like crap. Heats all the way.

Without Kobe in the lineup, they probably will be a playoff team but definitely not a championship contender. You need a closer in the NBA finals and without Kobe you won't win a championship. And the stats I threw out in the beginning of the season still stands. The Lakers usually lose when Kobe scores 30+. Most of the wins the Lakers has is when Kobe scores less than 30. |

You guys are dreaming if you think the lakers are better off with Kobe on the bench or not scoring. If metta and jamison could each give 17/19 points a game as they did against phoenix, then maybe, but otherwise you need Kobe to score.
Kobe the assist guy/non-scorer might work from time to time when the other guys hit shots, but it cannot be depended on. Again Kobe scoring 30pts does not equal the lakers losing. I've said it many times in this thread, but in many of those games, the lakers were out of it early on. If Kobe did not score in many of those games, they would have been blowouts or for sure losses rather than being close at the end. |

Lakers getting trounced by the Clippers, 101-80, at the end of the third quarter.
Armageddon has got to be just around the corner...
