I agree...Both are really good watches! My wife also enjoys Drive to Survive. She's not quite getting into the golfing though with Full Swing.

IMHO this was the worst DTS, properly boring and as someone who follows F1 closely, it's almost entirely lies.

I can't tell you how many times I've watched that series all the way through.

It was on my last two years of college. So we always had friends over with plenty of, ahem, accoutrements to accompany viewing the newest episodes.

"I hate you, I hate you, I don't even know you and I hate your guts."

"Now if you'll excuse me, I've gotta go home and put some water in Bucknasty's mommas dish."

That and the Black Bush skits are probably the ones for me. Well of course and black, blind white supremacist.

The first three episodes were by far the best. My favorite was the Bill and Frank episode, oddly enough.

Overall it was a great series but the pace was too quick (it should have been 12 episodes, 10 at the very least), and wayyyyy too few infected. With how few infected there were, you would have never thought they were a anything but a minor nuisance. I read that they spent half a mil on the Bloater costume (no cgi) but it was used once, c'mon.

While Melanie Lynskey is a great actress (the leader of the group in Kansas City) she was not cast well for her role. She was about as intimidating as a butterfly.

Agree with a lot of this. It did move too fast, especially from threat to threat and not enough infected.

I've always found Lynskey hard to watch other than in Two and a half men and she was by far the worst cast choice through the series. Everyone else was bang on.

To name a few:

-Harlem (Prime Video) I like it a lot. Good fun, tongue in cheek ,but with some profound layers as well.
-Entrevias(Netflix) great. That old man and his talk. Love it.
-Outlander(Netflix) also nice but the missus and I both fell asleep yesterday evening when watching E1(S6).....
-Crashing(Netflix) because of Phoebe Waller-Bridge 9/10.
-Skins(Netflix) old series, good fun
-The Inbetweeners(Prime Video) , very old series, but even more fun!

Cheers
Robin

Agreed, the crazy neighbor girl in love with Charlie (I still watch reruns of that show, its hilarious). When I posted my thoughts elsewhere they thought it was because she was "bigger"...which had absolutely nothing to do it. I just couldnt take her seriously and some of her scenes were just "filler". Like you said, horrible, horrible casting choice.

I read that the Last of Us 2 is going to take place over the next two seasons of the show....WHY?? Thats the game id like least to drag out that long. I would be really curious as to who would play Abby.

I dunno, maybe you guys had over-expectations due to the game? I didn't know anything about it so it was good for me.

Ya, that actress has a knack for playing ANNOYING characters (I've only seen her in Yellowjackets before this one). You just want bad things to happen to her haha.

Dont get me wrong, the show was still fantastic. A solid 8/10. They stuck very close to the game for the most part and is what a video adaptation of a video game should be (not like Halo).

that role seems tailor-made for sigourney weaver or linda hamilton.

John Thaw was the real deal when it came to British detective TV. His Inspector Morse series are a classic of the genre; the man absolutely brought it. Sorely missed, he is.

Resistance is futile!

Thanks for the clip – I had forgotten how truly fine Miss Bridget was when she was still working.

I watched a couple episodes of Night Agent on Netflix, I'd describe it as very good not great.

The trailer gave this impression but I was intrigued. Haven't started yet but I worry it'll be like most of Netflix's 1000 shows that just never catch a stride.

My wife have watched 8 episodes over the past few days. It's not GOT binge worthy by any stretch, but it's not horrible. We'll finish tonight and then start on the final season of Succession. We're running out of things to watch, looking forward to some of the ones coming out soon, Reacher, the rest of Yellowstone, 1923....hoping for some more of Bosch.

One of the things I notice about the Netflix algorithm is that it seems to show me the same stuff over and over again unless I specifically I'm searching for a new release.

Whereas something like Hulu, with the except of "Keep Watching" seems to show a bunch of new options every time.
