Finally saw Avengers End Game. Well I guess I won't even bother stating my opinions since they won't even matter, but all I can say is most of the time it's sort of joyless until the last 20 min. or so where it sort of redeems itself. What I can say that with the conclusion of the series, here some of my thoughts of ...

Tony Stark: A very talented actor but till this date, I maintain his best movie is "Chances Are" playing opposite of Cybil Shepard (hm... yummy), but his best most known acting movie to most people is Iron Man I. He invented the role the same way Johnny Depp invented his role in Pirate of the Caribbean. But since then, it seems like he sort of repeats the sane lines with the same manner over and over again, not much difference. Hopefully after Avengers, he may do something more interesting.

Mark Ruffalo and Scarlett Johansson are two extremely talented actors and I enjoyed every movies of them, but I think they are mis-casted as action hero roles in Avengers. I don't really thing they add any thing to their roles in Avengers, and since Avengers, they sort of became lazy ... sort of doing the same thing over and over again. Hopefully with the end of Avengers, they will do more interesting stuffs. See Scarlett Johansson in Ghost World or Lost in Translation or Match Point.

Most people probably identify Iron Man with Avengers, but I think Chris Hemsworth probably has the best screen present. He always has the right comedic timing in every scene he's in. He's sort of like Jennifer Aniston in Friends. Whereas Iron Man was always serious and heavy handed, Thor was always sort of taking things as light and la la la :-)

Super fun story, with some great scenes that will rank right up there with Tarantino's best. If you're a Tarantino fan, def check it out.
I rate it 3/10. Some good acting but the story goes nowhere and that's quite a waste of time given the 160min run time. My wife was disappointed too.

^ second this.

Admit the mistake and move on. Being a smart ass to someone more intelligent than you only causes a loss of credibility. Also if you're going to be a smart ass, when someone calls you out, make sure you don't omit words and misspell "real."

By the way, Robert Downey Jr. has done plenty of great roles. I feel like his role in The Avengers films only binds him to this character with millennials; but this is only because they are too young to have seen/take the initiative to watch him in anything else. His role in Natural Born Killers is one of my favorite characters he plays......not to mention Tropic Thunder.

First Tarantino film? He's notorious for taking the story all the way around the world, with dialogue, before he gets to the point and then ultimately unleashes hell.....which is exactly what he did here. That last scene delivered though. From Dusk til Dawn was no different.

My opinion this:
Pulp fiction is one of the top 10 movies ever made.
Kill Bill volume one was excellent.
Jackie Brown and reservoir dogs were good.
Really not a fan of the other movies.

I can't believe I haven't seen once a upon a time in Hollywood, will see it soon.

Personally, I feel that Once Upon A Time is not Pulp Fiction quality. It is slow and there are a ton of scenes that in the film for no other reason than the dialogue and banter that Tarantino loves to write. There is about a 20 minute crown jewel of the movie that I will not touch on, as not to ruin the film for anyone. This one particular scene, is one my favorites of his. I really don't want to say anything else other than he does a really good job of building the intensity throughout the film until.....

I will say it did not end as I thought it would.

Rudi - I watched Brawl last night. I kept waiting for the eruption of anger that was simmering under the surface, but it never boiled over in quite the way I was expecting. Brutal, no doubt.

When I saw the warden, I knew I should know him, but it wasn't until the credits that I figured it out.

You're bald too, right? Group buy on tattoo???

I’ve got to say that scene is absolute cracker, especially the dog food!

Other than that, and of course Margo Robbie in short shorts and short skirts, I found the movie ordinary.

I can't disagree with you. The girlfriend cringed and had to turn her head away at the mantle business. The older lady (late 50's) in front of us actually screamed "shit!" at loud in the theater during that part.

Although I enjoyed it, the entire film could have been about an hour in length.....and probably shorter. It did seem to me that he was trying to recapture the build up of The Hateful Eight again, but fell short. Still enjoyed it though.

My wife doesn’t like any violence whatsoever and was screaming, my son and I were sitting there laughing.

By the way my friend, even though I’m not quite there, late 50’s is not “older”, thanks.
