Exactly my thoughts. I lived in Florida for 13 years; those nature preserves are absolutely infested with alligators and cottonmouth rattle snakes.

There was a report earlier that a Medical Examiner was called out to a search site local to the families home in Florida. The story also reported that his parents had joined the search, why do they suddenly act as though they care enough to show up?

IMHO his parents knew everything. They gave him a couple days head start on his suicide mission or whatever. Someone has to pay.

Eh, what responsibility really rests on the parents here? I don't see that they have some lawful responsibility here. Maybe a moral one, but not a legal one.

Brian returns to Florida alone with Gabby’s van, the parents pack up a trailer and take Brian camping but he wasn’t seen afterward. I suspect the parents possibly knew what happened to Gabby and they became accomplices. I hope they are aggressively interviewed by authorities and either one takes a deal and turns on the other.

If there is evidence that they gave false info to the authorities and/or they knew that he did kill her, maybe. But him being ass raped by a gator, we’ll never know the facts. He took the cowardly way out.

I thought, but haven't been nearly as absorbed by this as Alfisti, that Brian and his family never really spoke to the authorities at all directly, but communicated only through a lawyer? If so, I doubt anything that was said was false, or at least will be able to be proven to be false, given client confidentiality and the like.

Yeah, he took the cowardly way out if he killed her. Which we still don't know. But even if he took the cowardly way out, I'm kind of ok with everyone else not having to pay to feed, clothe and house this guy for the rest of his life.
