I've watched 4 episodes of Shadow and Bone, still not sure if I like or not.
Since I'm seeing above that Black Mirror isn't ready for prime time, I may slug my way thru a few more Shadow and Bone.

Just finished last night with the wife, episode 3 of The Watcher.
It's pretty damn good.

Seriously?
We watched the episode where the so called "inspector" was in their house making the sandwich in the new kitchen. Does it continue to string you along and nothing more?

I'm slow. Just finished Foundation season one. At the start I was like meh... but it got better and I really enjoyed it at the end. Looking forward to season 2.
Also watching Silo. Really liked this one from the start, unfortunately Apple does the one episode per week crap. I've read they are doing a season 2 though so I'm guessing nothing will be resolved in this season. Was waiting for Star Trek Strange New Worlds to come out, then I realize it was season 2 that was coming out and I never saw season 1 so been watching that also. Pretty good if you like Star Trek. |

I'm really late to the party, but my wife and I just started watching Suits.
We are through episode 3 and really love it. Looking forward to watching all the seasons over time. I don't think we will binge-watch it. |

Yes, I watched the first season. Also good.
The funny thing is, it took me 3 tries of starting and stopping Bosch before I got into it. I watched an episode or two and thought meh a couple of time before starting over a third time and getting hooked.

You know as much now as you do when it ends. It's absolute rubbish and I can watch Naomi Watts folding envelopes.

Best thing about Suits is watching the mildly chunky fellow choking on the modern cut, two size too small suits.

Man you guys are tough critics. Granted I've watched some bad series to the end just because it keeps getting harder and harder to find anything good out there any more.

Glad you came back to it. Bosch is a good one. I really enjoyed that series. I was a little nervous when they announced the spinoff but I found the spinoff to be a great continuation. RIP Lance Reddick. Irvin Irving is my favorite character in the series.

Alfisti makes Simon Cowell look like sheepish nun in comparison.

Last of Us was good, only need to wait 18 months for season 2. Dexter follow up was good too but that's also dead so yeah, right now, it's all shite.

That episode was purposely designed to feel different. This season is a deviation from the tech-heavy under/overtones we’ve come to expect, but the first few episodes feel familiar.

Seasons 1-4 had a more consistent feel to them, and I liked how they were able to even find ways to make certain episodes less bleak and more hopeful (San Junipero, Hang the DJ), while still retain the technological aspect that the show is known for. |

Just finished watching this:
Fun fact.... Michael Barnett (main guy in this docuseries) was my boss circa 2005-2007 when I was in undergrad working at a Circuit City in Lafayette, IN...... so yeah this is all pretty disturbing and also extremely intriguing to me.

I m a big fan of these three knuckleheads but this special seemed a bit of a tipping point. It's not bad TV, but felt very flat and TBH I fear the reason is Clarkson and May are just too old for a proper adventure. Clarkson especially seems bloated and struggling to keep up, fat jokes aside.
Again, it's worth watching but it just seems............ flat. |
