Had it for just over a month, I love it! So far so good.

However, it is second hand and fast approaching 60K miles, I hear things can sometimes get expensive at this bit... so I'm slightly nervous

My first was a 2005 E46 330i Msport. I owned her for 19 years, then sold her with only 74,000 miles on the clock. Was a little hesitant about the Imola red color, but everyone loved that car! I ran an ad online and she was sold within 24 hours. Now I drive a 2016 640i Gran Coupe.

My first BMW was a leased 2014 335i, black sapphire metallic. I LOVED that car, and I would have kept it at lease end if the buyout hadn't been hopelessly inflated relative to market value.

Now I am in another lease, an Estoril blue 440xi Gran Coupe. It's fine (and beautiful to look at), but I don't love it the way I loved that black 335i.

I am now shopping again - and this time around, I will be purchasing. I have decided leasing isn't for me; I don't like the enforced time constraints. Like that first one, I wanted to keep... whereas this one, I had fallen out of love with by last year, but again am upside down in the lease, so there has been no financially rational exit. So... next up will be my first real purchase: an M240xi coupe.

Bought it a few months after I took a 5 series for a test drive. Decided I liked the features, comfort, and driving response and started doing my research and then bought it.

Had it for nearly 10 years, and said good bye when I picked up my current F10 550i.

My first was an E90 2011 328i Xdrive. I had it until last year when I got stationed in Turkey (Air Force) and now my daughter drives it. When I get back, she'll keep it and I'm moving on to a G05 2020 X5.

I bought this at 20 used (29 years ago) after working A/C repair for years during the day while going to college at night. AND got bored and wanted a truck for the mountains so sold if for a Bronco oh the foolishness of youth

Now prior to this the family had other BMWs but this was my first (lessor models and better models have followed)
