The Urus is double the price of my current ride though.
The Z4 is my only car, it does great in winter, although this winter has been a 'banner' year, got stuck like 3 or 4 times already while ironically it hasn't snowed as much: but it's only because my car's low and I get beach-whaled; the traction is great. I usually don't get stuck at all any winter.

Go for your M6 or M8, yolo baby!

I think SUVs are great from a luxury standpoint especially if you have a 2nd car to handle the sporty driving. I don't know what you consider "expensive", but in my mind the top tier luxury SUVs (X7, GLS, Range, etc - not counting the bentayga/cullinan) are amazing at being comfortable and luxurious without being total duds to drive. Personally I wouldn't get an SUV if I was single, but with a family they're amazing.

I get it, for sure I'm not saying one has to sit in a bare crate because they bought a SUV, but I guess to me the image of a SUV is something like a Bronco that one can trash around, and definitely not, say, your aforementioned Bentayga where they wouldn't take it offroading. Maybe I'm just prejudiced against certain brands haha.

Ya, sportscars only for me, although we wanna eventually get a 4-wheeler someday, getting stuck in the snow isn't fun (my car actually does well in winter but the ground clearance is its Achilles' heel).

Yeah if you get down to the literal terms... "sports utility vehicle"... they should really separate the terms SUV (something that can do some true off-roading and can be thrashed around) from a crossover (just a car on stilts with extra space

In-N-Out Burger is the most overrated burger joint out there.

*NOTE* I didn't say they weren't decent/good. But IMHO, very overrated.

100% whole heartedly agree. I've tried it on 4 different occasions to see what the hype was about and on each occasion I've been very underwhelmed.

Don't worry, I'll block the shots for ya lol.

Ya, exact same feeling from me, my friends are having orgasms over that chain but I'm just scratching my head. I'm a Canuck so it's a real treat whenever I go down to explore the various fast food places. I personally like Jack-in-the-Box and Carl's Jr.

In-N-Out is a cult thing. Like you said, they're decent, but many are better.

Yes, decent/good, and 100% reliable. And overrated (but still good). Definitely a cult thing.

Original Tommy's chiliburgers and chili cheese fries are better. Right, hubbahubba?

Making your own coffee is a waste of time and sometimes $$$, just buy a Nespresso if you want quality espresso, the time invested : result just isn't there.

Did you read my post incorrectly? I'm not sure how to respond: I'm not saying that I make my own coffee, it's just a capsule machine, but if you're saying I do 'make' it, well, I guess, if you mean that I lift the lever, put in a capsule, close the lever and press 'start' haha.

The thing is, I've compared the fancy stuff and went to nice coffee shops, I just don't see it, wasting like, what, 10mins? for something that is done w 2 gulps? That's a crazy dedication/art form I want no part of lol.

i guess i am confused lol... when you say "make your own coffee"

Are you referring to buying whole beans, using a manual grinder, mixing it with hot water etc? lol

Fundamentally, a machine does all that for you... even the expensive Jura machines... so that is in theory just pressing a button.

Most people I imagine saying making my own coffee would be the people that drink coffee at home in any form as opposed to going out for coffee i.e. starsucks or the like.

Ok, I'm just talking about all those dedicated ppl who do their own roasting, grinding, packing, etc. Those crazy top-of-the-line all-in-one are just insane, almost like buying an industrial unit, and to me the taste is not worth all that effort...might as well just get a capsule machine haha.

I love my espresso machine. I buy beans, but grind, puck prep, pull. Just made one in fact. I also use a Moke Pot which is also legit.

I think some just enjoy the process. I have a buddy who's really into it and I personally don't notice a significant difference in taste no matter how much he raves about it, so maybe there's a psychological aspect to doing it yourself that adds some level of satisfaction.

Yup, definitely, that's why I keep referring to it as an art form/dedication. I've tried many but I personally don't 'see' any superior taste, and that's why I became a pod person haha.

wouldn't this go into the same category as those people that weigh and pack their own bullets lol?

You can buy cheap remanufactured ammo online and skip the nuisance of weighing gun powder etc... especially if 99% of the ammo is strictly for the range... but now and then... there will be that guy that argues precision blah blah

...arguably same with changing your car's own oil lol...
