Nope, no draft picks as Dez had been but and was a free agent. He took the low pay to have a chance at a Super Bowl ring. He had previously turned down something like $5M for a one year deal at Cleveland...

as soon as I saw how the game started with the Packers putting up points I thought this was going to be a blow out but wow...crazy game! looking forward to the Chief/Rams game this Weekend

Wilson is now something like 5-3 against Rodgers, despite Rodgers playing with a way more talented team than the seahawks.

its amazing how wilson keeps the hawks competitive despite having a trash O line and just about zero weapons outside of Baldwin.

i dont understand how McCarthy is still the HC of the packers.

O line has improved as the running game has. They do allow too many sacks, pressures and way to many false starts though.

Packers are not a more talented team than Seattle. Years of lousy drafts have finally caught up with them because former GM would not consider free agency, etc. Take away Adams, who do you have to cover? Couple of rookies. And McCarthy wont be coach in GB after this year. Pretty much a done deal. New GM wants his own guy.

Well neither of those teams are winning a super bowl with those defenses. Everyone thought Rodney Harrison was crazy for calling out Rams defense earlier in the year. Then the Rams defense gave up 45 to the Saints and now 51 to the Chiefs. Yards allowed Rams ranked last in the league, Chiefs 29th.

I agree, however get used to this “new” NFL. All centered around scoring and points. Just the way Goodell wants it. Shoot outs equal ratings which ultimately means more money.

Defenses just need to make a few plays, that’s it.

Exactly. And there were what, 3 defensive scores last night? These defenses aren't that bad, they give up a ton of yards partly because they score so fast and so often other teams get the ball more often. Remember last years SB, Philly had a great defense, but whole game was a shootout.
On the other hand, Saints D is better than either of these.
