I saw one in person at BWI while a heavy thunderstorm was clearing up and the sun was coming out. The sunlight shinning on that Orange Utah X1 at that moment was simply indescribable.

Me too. After my order was in production, I saw some photos (on this forum; not sure where now) of a San Remo green with Oyster interior and Eucalyptus trim. It was really, really gorgeous.

I love my Storm Bay xLine with black interior, but I still think about that San Remo green combo.

My m35i will be individual Utah Orange, It was unavailable as you say with the Msport in the 28i. I looked at all the individual colors and thought, why not. It's about halfway across the Atlantic right now and should be in Seattle Mid December. I did a quick Photoshop to be sure thats what I wanted so except for the red calipers and the M Badges on the fenders, that's what coming. Been a long wait.

Stopped by the dealership today to have the scheduled maintenance done. They have quite a few unsold X1’s on the lot. On another note, I have a ‘23 330i as a loaner and the auto start/stop function is night and day compared to the X1 28i. If my X1 was like this I’d have zero complaints. Also, buttons. Now I kind of miss having buttons. Still zero regrets on the X1 though!

They are definitely sporty and supportive and grip really well in the corners. I did two 8 hour long stretches in them and while I’m not a big guy it has encouraged me to lose some lbs haha. I highly recommend you try them out if you can as one might find them narrow.

I've been pondering about the BMW racks since I took delivery 6 months ago. They were around $350 at my dealer and that was actually a pretty decent price.

Last week, I finally gave in and ordered them because my dealer was doing a Black Friday deal. My final cost, including tax, was $247. They are expected to arrive at the dealer tomorrow and I'll pick them up on Thursday.(have an appointment to diagnose heated seat issue)

Sure hope my large Thule roof box will fit the BMW factory racks.

50. 53 would fit but they’d stick out an additional inch and a half on each side. Make sure you buy the correct fit kit as well.

I was hesitant on putting those black side air vents on but actually they accompany perfectly and create a balance with the front-lip. I first installed the front-lip and me first reaction was: 'ok cool' ... and a few minutes later I attached those side air vents and my second reaction was: 'BAM In your face motherf*****


I also know that some people will think: why don't you put black grill on it? But I really like the brushed metal finish of the grill as it is and it balances nicely with the headlights.
