@Turkish Pickle Make sure you contact those dudes on Turo first, if you're under rental age, they like to hike up the rates on you. I recall paying a "premium" for a freaking Ford Fusion last year. Also, take pre-condition pictures all around the car before turning the key.

Some of these car rental guys are sketchy IMO.

Oh yeah. Car is $69/day, "under age charge" is $30 extra.
Even with the upcharge I'm paying $100 less than what I'd be paying in Avis with an ecoboost mustang though so I don't think it's that bad. Plus I always wanted to drive a convertible down PCH

Call me a negative Nancy, but I'd personally never travel out of state for a random (I assume random bc IG) during normal times, let alone during a global pandemic.

I'd just rent the Z4 locally and hop on tinder.

Oh no I completely agree with you. Traveling out of state for someone just sounds odd, and has been so since day 1, but I figured why the hell not. I've been looking at events/stuff I can do, I don't intend to spend every second with her anyway. Call it my vacation for this summer

Plus if shit hits the fan and I don't want to go I can get out of all three arrangements up to the day before with 100% refunds so I have a month to really make or break my plans.
