on Aliexpress, I now see the rear bumper guard protector available for sale (the outside bumper, or the inside, OR both... but disturbing is the price for shipping... will wait to see if other vendors have lesser cost shipping wise to Hawaii and sell the aluminum/stainless steel version.

I have this! It’s great! But it is not black. It is brushed metal. In Austria it costs 85 euro. If you want a more black version, go for their carbon fibre option, buts that’s 190 euro.
Also make sure to select the right trim!! They have options for X-line and M-Sport

Just had a look, it might be that the X-line version is glossy black. Shame they didn’t do the same for the M-Sport trim

thank you for the picture on an actual MSport x1!

I think I will pass, as I want the bumper guard protector to come forward 'more' (than the 2.8 inches depth) to protect the top side of the rear bumper.

Floor mats

I've got these alternatives from Amazon. Good quality and value. Protection is good, but I would prefer the second row to be more firm (on the sides).

does your key fob cover have a TPU surround?

I got this one from Amazon. it's all leather and does not slide into and out of my pocket easily. I'm hoping to get one that's at least partially made of TPU which will probably slide easier?

Thanks!

My cover slides in and out of my pocket very easily. The aluminium bracket makes it very easy to take in and out, and the cover is supposedly leather (it feels like leather but I think it might be “sensatec” haha)
I’m really happy with it. I even bought the metallic blue case for the second key

The material is like the cell phone cover. It's smooth, light-weight and still as pretty as new after almost 6 months of use.

I save the following screenshot from several months ago. I named it "France X1 video review key fob and card cover" and I ment to look it up later. Well.. that was several months ago. I just saw the picture in my folder again.

Is the BMW card case for the digital key card? does that key fob have a case on?

Thanks!

The key fob doesn’t have a cover. This is the non-M Sport key.

Not sure about the card case

Replaced the BMW splitter with a more prominent one by CSR automotive (made in Germany). I do love the BMW splitter, but over time it just felt a bit too small. This one is sized in the middle between the BMW splitter and the Chinese-made splitters found on eBay and AliExpress.

I also bought a rear spoiler from them to complete the look.

Really happy with the quality and look.

that does look better! I have no doubt that it will be able to shovel more snow when the time comes.

does the CSR one attach to the bumper the same way as the BMW one?

Thanks!

Thanks!

It comes supplied with rivets, but I attached it with self tapping screws (I added 3M VHB tape on top for extra security).

Can’t use the same holes as this sits a little further forward, so I had to make new holes. Very easy process overall.

The rear spoiler only requires 3M tape, which come preinstalled. But I took this off and used my own 3M tape, which is thinner and stronger
