Seems good. But you know what I hate. In some of the previews he has those "I'm fucking black so I say shit like "Thats right, oh hell nah"

He really needs to step up and get some real acting jobs before the end of his career. Atleast I would want some sort of good roles. Not the stereotypical I'm a black guy.

Every actor has their niche. Will Smith's is comedy and action. The best movie I saw last year was "In the Pursuit of Happiness". He was excellent and that was a dramatic movie. Dont forget that all people dont get to grow up on the beach, driving M6's, and having daddy pay for everything. He's never changed even though he's hella rich. From Fresh prince to now.

Overall the movie was average 6 out of 10 for me. It just seems like these days movies are more and more dependent of CGI. I'm not a big fan of such in this case and would of preferred actual custom actors. A lot of things in the movie didnt make much sense so I recommend leaving your brain at home.

Every actor has their niche, but a good actor does not let that take them over. A good actor still tries to do harder and unconventional roles.

The pursuit of happyness was great and showed he can be a great actor without being the black guy role and saying dumbass phrases.

Also you brought up growing up rich. Wtf did that have to do with anything at all?

Because I would hope you werent talking about me, since well none of that goes for me. Especially the beach part my car is under snow right now.

Also how would you know he hasnt changed? You his best friend?

he's saying that the money did not change him as a person, and that is admirable by its own standards. haven't we seen enough snobby people on this board alone?

Am I his best friend? No. Are you an Actor or Casting director? What the hell do you know about acting? Thats what I thought.

What I meant that maybe since he's acted the same exact way for the last 15 years that I've seen him on TV, maybe thats how he is. A funny goofy guy. Also what I meant by rich is that he's from.......Philadelpia. Think he had money? Think he's different now? Find a negative article anywhere on the internet about him. Please. Use google. Its not case sensitive.

Its funny how I always hear or see ignorant people talking about a guy acting too "black, spanish, or some other ethnicity". You ever think that not everyone acts like a egotistical white guy who wears plaid pants? You are who you are. If you dont like it, stop watching his movies.

Wait so you knowing how a famous actor is in real life is the same as me not being a actor how?

You dont have to be an actor to know things about acting and roles. But you do have to know someone to speak about their character. So your point was horrible.

And what's with the childish, "thats what I thought" how old are you. If we were face to face would you then push me and say " what now bitch"

Also because you can't find a negative article means nothing. Am I saying he is a bad guy no? But yet another point that isnt legit. He could easily have some bad things about him without people knowing.

Also yet again you bring up the stereotypical rich white guy thing. In which you state white guy with plaid shorts.

Are you ignorant or just like acting tough? Because just so you know I am not fully white, I hate plaid shorts and I am nowhere near rich.

So if you arent directing those dumb remarks towards me, why are you even saying them?

Cant wait for your reply, Bet it will include "oh shut up, your a tool, blah blah"

LOL, you're the one who instigated this entire conversation. I had a simple reply and you wanted to respond with a smart ass comment.

I dont care who you are or what you think. You're entire post shows how mature you really are.

I have no idea how actors are in real life. We are specifically talking about Wil Smith. I asked you to find proof, over the last 15 or so years, anything negative about him. You havent provided anything, so whatever you post is your opinion and nothing else.

Also perhaps you didnt understand. I never said you were white or rich. But your "black" comment more than likely means that you would have no problem with him if he acted more "white". I highly doubt he needs to act any other way than himself. He's been that way for the last 2 decades.

Oh yeah. "Shut up, you're a tool, blah blah". Sorry I forgot about that last part

My smart ass comment? geez dont get so defensive over one statement.

Also i dont want him to act more white, what I mean and what I said two times already. But ill say it again. Is that the stupid one liners that are just thrown in for no reason. Just like what Chris Tucker does and a bunch of other black actors.

So no i dont want him to act white not sure how you came to that conclusion.

+1 on the suspense!

I thought it was great for a Sci Fi movie ... I thought Will Smith did a great job as a actor in the movie and over all it was enjoyable watch. I also thought it seem a bit political IMO. Like a "you cant create something better then God so dont mess with it" ... kind of fitting for the current day with all the Stem Cell research.

The only thing I didnt like is some items that where totally off in the movie: NOTE if you havnt seen this movie scroll past my next comments:

For example .. .the manican that was moved and the night walkers set the trap? if they had no human instincts how would they 1) know he talked to the manicans and 2) be smart enough to set the trap? The other thing is he built his house to keep out all the night walkers yet they are able to break in once they find the place? There are a bunch of other little things like that that takes away from the movie ... but over all I give it a 4 1/2 out of 5

Just came back from watching it. Good movie, but I'm sick of CGI monsters. My god, could they look anymore fake? Why not use real people mixed in?

I give the movie ***

There was a bit of a payback with Fred. The freak's man was willing to walk into the light, and he noted a change in their behavior in his report, but he missed that it wasn't the complete lack of human emotions, they were moving back up the ladder. And then used his own trap against him, I almost lol on that one. Nobody around me seemed to understand.

I thought the zombies look real mean in the movie. It fits in movie. If they made the zombies real people, it would of made the movie more like a typical zombie film (ex: 28 days later, land of the dead, shauwn of the dead).. which is bad.

I dunno. The zombies in 28 weeks later were the best i've seen so far. When the zombies jumped or moved, it reminded me of IRobot

i thought the movie was really well done but agree it could have been a lot longer and elaborate at the end.

i enjoyed a breath of fresh air given to the zombies but they were still just zombies at the end. i just don't like how there's always a "virus" and everyone dies but 1 person who then finds a colony of more people and blah blah blah.

that is why i really enjoyed stephen king's take on this in The Stand.
