I'll pass and take Space Grey. Then I'll put my $8,000 elsewhere......maybe those ceramic brakes that are a rip off? Can't wait till Stoptech or somebody else makes them a lil more affordable.

Just got back from the auto show and they also told me it was Donington Grey. From the pics I saw I was hoping it was the Pure Metal Silver. The car is supposed to reach the port December 7th.

It's a bit like the famous Mercedes Benz Alubeam Silver which was a $12k option on the SLS. I would protect it with some 3M.

Cool process, but chrome shadow is a more expensive paint, and looks better. At least on pics, it's hard to gauge the beauty of that silver when you are not there in RL.

BMW imposes such color selection limits upon the US market, it's just a source of frustration to be shown paint they could, but won't do.
