He is very entertaining and I really like the show.

I commend the BBC for taking this action based on his racism and physical violence towards other staff.

Always seemed a little like an oaf, but didn't follow him personally. What racist views has he been affiliated with?

I will say when you are assaulting staff because there is no hot food, you need to take a break and analyze your behavior.

BBC had to fire him. The show can survive without him.

I love Top Gear and can't imagine it without Clarkson. With that said, firing him was only a matter of time based on repeated poor behavior/slurs.

Part of their brand is to play up to the oafish thing. "Just a group of lads having a bit of a larf" as they would say in the UK.

Off the top of my head he has, in various episodes, racially offended Germans, Mexicans, Argentinians, and Vietnamese.

I used to really enjoy his brand of humour, it now feels a little bit like it's all gone to his head and he thinks he is bigger than the game.

There are very few people who are irreplaceable. Clarkson is not one of them. He can and will be replaced by somebody else with talent. No excuse for being a racist prima donna. Let the show go on.
