You want to know what happens? When I was living part-time in a particular city. I stopped in for dinner at a small ethnic restaurant that had really good food but was located in an area with terrible parking. There was a table with six teenagers (4M, 2F) just finishing up. Opposite me was a guy with his g/f and a family that occupied the rearmost table. I could tell something was up when the six stood up - I knew they hadn't settled the check yet - after wife of the owner/chef who was the hostess/server disappeared into the kitchen to get an order.

Well all six bolted out the door. The guy sitting across from me locked eyes with me and at that same instant we both jumped up and ran out to chase them. He went right where some had gone and I went left after a couple of the perps that had run into the alley. Long story made shorter, I cornered one guy in a dead-end parking lot. I told him not to move and that I wasn't going to touch him while I called 911 but if he tried to make a break for it I would have to drop him. He stayed put and I got a cop on the phone. I told him what happened.

Now this is classic. He told be they "didn't have time for stuff like this and to let him go" but to this day I believe he caught himself in the process of saying "we don't have time for SHIT like this" because I distinctly heard an "sh" start to the word before he caught himself. For a number of reasons I wouldn't do that again but it was just one of those foolish adrenaline-fueled knee-jerk decisions.

How in the Fk do you think this 17 yo kid, with a gun robbed a person at gun point? Everything starts from the top: raise your kids properly, teach them right from wrong, work hard, be a good/great person and help people.

Most parents teach their kids right from wrong, I highly doubt his parents are the issue. My parents taught me right from wrong, at the end of the day I made the choices in my life not my parents. I agree some parents don't give a fuck, buy to say this is that instance is wrong when you have no damn clue.

Every job has a risk. Some jobs have more risk than others. Most probably robbing with a firearm its risky jobs. How are they going to proof that Phil intentionally tried to smash his arm?

What did Phil do wrong? Nothing
What did the kid do wrong? Everything, besides being fking stupid!!!!

I feel sorry for Phil. He will try to defend himself for the rest of his life just because he was trying to get back what was his!!!! Am I missing something?

our parents can try and show us what's right and wrong but we don't always listen to them. Man if I listened to my parents all the time I would definitely be a different person for the better.

Lmao. What lily white neighborhood are you from? Obviously you never lived in the hood. Growing up in Newark I can tell you that some of these kids had parents that needed some serious parenting. And I should say parent because the most fucked up kids usually came from a single parent household or were raised by grandparents. Some of these people have the IQ of a fucking hamster and a seriously fucked up. I mean fucked up to the point where rehabilitation is impossible. They are just so damn stupid that they are nearly incapable of being educated.
