I heard this camera is only good for video...not knocking it but for pics is average

Well you can frame capture from video so stills are as good as video.

It does seem more natural to look "through" the camera.

I have a D70 and LOVE it. I was almost gonna buy a T6i - I'm so glad I went with the D70 with the 18mm to 135mm "kit" lens. Such a great combo.

The 80D has substantial improvements in AF and high-ISO performance, if you can afford to go with the latest and greatest in this class.

Thanks. I bought it 6 months ago and like it, but not a pro by any means. So, really curious who had one and thoughts. Also, what our resident pros thought.
