3 road bikes
3 tandems, one a vintage with down tube Dura Ace shifters, one setup for gravel and dirt.

Only one doesn't get ridden much as it is an old standard double Dura Ace group and pretty tough on hills.

If your IG is the same handle, then I remember seeing those 5 bikes. However, it seemed like you would have 5 bikes at any one time with a new one leaving and coming in every week, haha.

Trek Domane and Trek 8.3 hybrid for trails. Selling my Trek Domane and Trek 8.3. I am planning to buy a Specialized Cross Trail for trails, with minimum road riding . The roads are becoming too dangerous for me.

Not to derail things but I am looking at a few bikes and want something that can do crappy pavement and maybe light trails. I am considering either a Specialized Crosstrail Disc or a Giant Roam 2 Disc. Any thought on either or maybe a different type of bike entirely? Thanks.

When I sell my Trek Domane and I am buying the Specialized Cross Trail. Full CF frame, smart shock, good componetry and with my discount I can get one for around $1300. Perfect for crappy pavement and trails. I am taking a friend to my Bike shop today as he also is going to buy one. Trek does not make a bike in this category.

The crosstrail Disc I am looking at is only $650.

Yeah, there are several varieties. I am used to a CF road bike so I am going with CF on the cross trail as well as the new brain shock they offer. You cant go wrong with any of their models.

Just one. Ridley Fenix. I've been looking for a mountain bike to add to the addition.

I don't mind spending that kind of money, but for my casual use, $650 is a little more than I want to pay for a bicycle, but still want something nice.

I saw a Cross Trail at my bike shop for around that price. Aluminum frame, shock, decent components.

2010 135i Coupe  [5.26]
Road: 2011 Trek Madone 4.7
Trail/Rec: Next week I'm picking up a 1996 (pre-Trek) Klein Pulse Comp that someone spent a fortune rebuilding with new XT components and spinergy wheels for $300. I always wanted a Klein when I was really into biking in the mid-90s (pre-drivers license) so this is me rebuilding my childhood dreams. Hey, it's cheaper than buying the cars of my dreams...

We picked up the refurbished Trek 2 nights ago for my son. Total to rebuild it was a little over $220. Not bad for a "new" bike for the kid.

While he was in applying for a job at the bike shop, I rode it home. I've never been on a bike quite that fast!
