It wasn't that bad where I was. Kinda like testing a massage chair at the store- 30 seconds of rumbling and then it's over. What sucked is that I was taking a test and we all had to evacuate school for like 20 minutes, and when we got back in class, teach made us finish and turn it in before we got out cause we couldn't get behind schedule and just finish it tomorrow!!!

I was watching Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla with my 3 and 7 year olds when it happened......

I started yelling....."It's Godzilla!"......and my 3 year old actually believed me......

I'm like 7-8 miles from the Epic Center......

So is it smart to walk outside of the building?

What if the building collapses and hit me?

I was walking with my colleague to lunch in Bonaventure. Apparently I was so into what I was talking that I did not feel the shake. Heard and saw the windows shake though.

Pray that you live or work in a building with rollers. Most of the modern buildings here can withstand earthquakes of that magnitude. It was pretty amazing to hear the rumbling sounds, then slowly feeling your building shake harder and harder. If this type of quake happened in a third world country, there would have been major damages.

Bonaventure ftw. I ate at that Korean BBQ place after we evacuated from the building.
