I'm just wondering if it's a matter of time before smaller scale motorsports events (SCCA,NASA, GTA, etc) follow suit.

Indycar's shutting it down, too. Haven't seen anything from NASCAR

I would assume they'd follow suit.

NASCAR initially decided to run the next two races behind closed doors. They have since cancelled the next two races at Atlanta and Homestead.

Well, Formula E decided to halt the entire season for the time being. If the situation doesn't improve in the next few months, we could very well be looking at more cancellations on F1.

JD said events are going on unless they are forced to not have them by local jurisdictions. They will lock out fans if they have to in order for the competition to go on.
