We do have to calm down a little Mark is working hard. It's hard to get everything right. And remember getting on here with little load times your iPhone/iPod is a bonus, lets atleast be happy we got it so far. If it's watered down it's cool, at least we can access everything!

you can't ! we have the option for one or the other. I prefer to have full functionality on the iPhone but it is nice that it loads up much faster. I do think that key functions such as replying to pm is necessary. hopefully it can be fixed soon !

MODS: can we please have an option to turn off iPhone mode?
the iPhone optimized version of e90post is fine... but can we have an option to goto the normal site? It's much nicer to look at the real site rather than the optimized one... at least give us the option!

I thought that it was something that I did by mistake and it was driving me crazy!!! I really don't like the iphone version. It might be a bit faster but I hate it. |

x100.. I mean the iPhone version is nice and all, if you want to just check your PM's. But if you actually wanna surf on the go, forget it!

Mark,
to address all those who are getting worked up about it you might want to take a look at cnn.com and m.cnn.com. If you navigate to m.cnn.com on your iPhone it will give you a link at the bottom to goto the regular site. I am not sure how you are doing it but I think they are just simply using a bit of javascript. So something along these lines might work: if (!override) { if(navigator.userAgent.match(/iPhone/i) ){ ...do iphone mobile version.. else{ ..do regular site.. } } else { ..do regular site.. } On hitting the link you can just set "no_override" or whatever. Im sure you know what I mean. |

PLEASEEEEEEEEEE put a link to go to the normal version of the site. It's so annoying to read the iPhone optimized version. It's nice you implemented this, but it's so much easier/better to look at the real site on the phone
