I bought my M2 from a local Porsche dealer at the beginning of the year. When we went in to purchase there was a GT2RS sitting in the showroom. My 6yo thought it was the coolest car he’d ever seen. We sat on a couch admiring the car and I explained to him if he worked really hard in school and got a good job there was no reason he couldn’t own a car just like that when he grew up.
I followed up with a poster of the same car for his bedroom wall. Not sure who likes the poster more, him or me |

I suggest something that will spark conversation sharing and learning (now or when he is old enough) two thoughts:
Two posters of your favorites one from the year you were born and one from year he was born or X-ray style poster so he can see the innerworkings and you can teach him (here as an example) |

I’d put a poster which can be found on Etsy as “Vintage Reproduction Racing Poster Grand Spalding Dodge Girl Super stock drag racing”. Decided not to post it here because the lady is completely normally dressed and at the same time kind of not)

What Poster for my Son's Room?
Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I ended up going with a Porsche, so he'll be able to see his poster car in real life, and an F40 for my own nostalgia. I plan to rotate them out every few months. I'll have a McLaren and BMW 'art car' on my list to buy.
...and no pz619, I don't want to turn the kid into Jeffrey Dahmer with the new M3/M4 |
