looks good in the flesh. i'm sure it will tick all the boxes in terms of driving experience too
still find the triple tail pipes weird, but thats an easy aftermarket fix not a fan of the kia stinger rear tails either

Looks so much better than the last CTR. I love how they downsized the wheels from 20's to 19's. I'm all for thicker sidewall.
If they can keep the price below $40k I'll definitely be looking for one. But if over that then I'd rather get a 6MT G80. |

I'm really liking it, it's definitely an improvement over the previous gen.

I think it's nice but here enlies the problem... it's still a FWD compact sedan... so what is a reasonable price that this is worth it? In my mind 40K would really be pushing the upper boundary as it is still a civic... with markups, we will possibly never see that price just like the prior gen.

Agree with others that this is an improvement from last gen. Only thing of note is that the numbered plaque is kind of silly especially considering they built 25k+ of the last gen.

If it was AWD, it would be amazing. I've already done the high HP FWD thing with 2nd Gen MazdaSpeed 3. If I'm not going to be able to get the rear loose without having to resort to trail braking, lift off oversteer, I want it to hook up and go. The Speed 3 wouldn't hook up until 3rd gear because of all the torque. |

Looks awesome. Too bad dealers will kill it with markups.

One thing I will say: the combo of the stripped and streamlined interior, the HVAC physical controls, and the screen really look 'racecar' to me. Very simple and clean; straight to business. I think they did a great job. Only thing I don't love is the big silver center shifter trim. Should have done piano black or something textured like suede.

if you want awd there is the GR corolla which surprisingly may be around the same weight. But the civic looks much much nicer overall imo.

Huge improvement over the last CTR. That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if this thing is pushing close to $45k + dealer markup. The last one started at $38k - so I think over $40k is all but a done deal at this point.

Not a bad looking car. Disappointing to see the digital instrument cluster.

I like the gauges with actual temperatures and such. I know ID7 has a flavor of that, but I like the layout from the CTR.

The front on 3/4 view is the worst view of the car. I've never been a fan of the blunt nose of the new Civic. Otherwise, I have a strong feeling this car will look quite good in person after seeing it in motion in various videos. It is a far more restrained look and that's a good thing. The interior is perfect too and one of the best of any "normal" car including BMWs. It will be a brut of a FWD car and will do things that a FWD shouldn't do.
