Thanks for the words of encouragement! Don’t worry, it’s only for super-important stuff.

Anyone get mud flaps? Ain't easy finding parts for a brand new car. Planning on adding the 50th anniversary emblems to front and rear too.

Not easy to find any aftermarket accessories at this time.

I am waiting for the key fob cover for the least. The key fob looks too pretty to have any scratch on it..lol

iX key fob covers are the same as X1. I got the M Performance suede/carbon look leather one as a gift from my CA. It has a pull tab on the back to extract the key, and a leather loop to put a key ring through.

I'm not liking the look of the Pro Clip system and it's probably not even available here in Aus but am sure I'll find an alternative. Thanks for the info.

Oh for the A/C cooling, I've noticed with my current one even with the A/C on full blast the phone still tends to get hot. The charger seems to block the A/C from blowing onto the phone so I was thinking something like the ESR one would be useful but hopefully I can find a similar system with full wattage charging available for the phone.
I got my phone mount in, though it took a bit of adapting since ProClip USA didn’t have the MagSafe charger holder in stock. I bought the X1 specific baseplate mount and the 17mm ball head adapter (most common size for all vent mounts) and reused the MagSafe charger holder from my old mount. I also bought the tilt/swivel adapter but ended up not using it since the position of the phone is good enough that Face ID still works. I realize this may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it works, no drilling, and charges my phone faster than the built in wireless charger.

Here's the direct links for the stuff I used (US links):

https://www.proclipusa.com/products/...-adapter-plate

https://www.proclipusa.com/products/...ter-dash-mount

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The MagSafe holder from Amazon is not available in that specific design anymore, but I liked it because it was more open in the back allowing for more cooling from the A/C vent, there are similar ones out there.

is the MagSafe charge's magnet strong enough to hold the iPhone13 ProMax in the Apple leather case(sold by the Apple Store) in that vertical position in the car without falling, in case of bumpy roads?

if you're using the MagSafe charger, then what is the empty space in the X1 wireless roller coaster charger used for?

I have asked the parts employee to find out the prices for the roof rack bars, but they still have not answered me after a week. Has anyone been able to buy those bars yet?

That space for the wireless charger is empty, I don’t use it at all. Never really kept anything in the console of previous cars either except for pens/loose change in the armrest, so it doesn’t bother me at all.

I can’t say about the max, but my 13 Pro with the clear MagSafe case sits on there rock solid and has never fallen, including when I had it in my old car. I did try it with a Speck rugged case for MagSafe and the magnets in those did not seem nearly as strong, so I didn’t try it in the car.

Looks nice! Can you explain how it's attached to the dash? It looks like it's through the vent, but I couldn't tell for sure. Also, does it have to be on the passenger side or can you mount it closer to the driver's side?

You can mount it on either side, it clips in on the small lip on the inside of the vent, so you can still freely adjust the vent. I’ve always liked their mounts, so far it’s been great!

For those who have had the vehicle for some time now - does the key fob tend to get easily scratched for example when you have few other keys hooked to it? I’m yet to take delivery of my car but it looks like the key fob is made of glossy black plastic so I‘m wondering if it’s worth getting a key cover.

If you did get one share some recommendations/real life pics to inspire me!

I took delivery of my X1 with M Sport package at the end of April. I immediately ordered the M Performance key fob from the BMW dealer. It feels so much nicer than the black plastic key fob surface. I highly recommend it! No more worrying about scratches.
