Nice to see this thread getting bumped, and fellow 1addicts sharing! Predictably, there's quite a few automobilia enthusiasts. Seems like there's a lot of RC fans too! Very cool.

Seems 2 b quite a selection here! glad to see another rugby enthusiast even if its touch rugby Its really demanding on fitness
Some of the main hobbies: Rugby - Its my final year in school and hoping to make the 1st XV at my school(was stuck in the 2nd XV this whole year!) not bad considering we have 8 full teams in the open category so gym also falls under there as it helps a lot. Currently playing lock but im hoping to switch to 8th man. 6'2"" and weighing in at 92kg's but hoping to pick up more muscle weight before rugby starts again. Gaming - Im always in and out of competitive gaming for CS:S (counter strike source) but sport takes preference and weekends are normally taken by friends and the new gf. Cars(DUH!) - Always trying to keep up with cars and whats new. When ever a friend is interested in a car they come to me. But hey! this is probably what most teens are into :P

-Cars (especially after getting my 135i). Meet up with some friends/family who own exotic cars for runs/meet & greets.
-Gym. Been going now for a few months. Finally able to put up my own body weight and hope by the summer I will be able to lift 200lbs on a flat bench. Plenty more fitness goals but don't want to bore the thread. -Pyrotechnics. I've shot professionally for a couple companies in the Tri-state area. Also compete in small-scale firework competitions. All done 100% legally. I'm a moderate adrenaline junky so anything that gets it flowing is cool to me. |

Ever been paintballing? If you have the finances it will change your life. The Adrenaline will stay with you all day. The 2000+ calories you burn during that day also give you a great workout!

Hobbies besides enjoying my 135...
Horseback riding and showing (Appaloosas), reading (got two nice bios of T.E. Lawrence on the nightstand now), and I do enjoy a good bit of travel with the wife. Write software for living, so anything that gets me away from the desk is good, good, good.

Some. But - call me an old-timer, or a purist - I actually do most of my coding in straight C. Only go to VC++ when client insists (which usually means they plan to take over the code and maintain it in-house). Given my druthers, I'm happiest doing Java programming and XML and XHTML web sites. But sometimes you just gotta go where the work is.
I cut my teeth on old Borland Turbo Pascal for Windows - and, man, that seems soooo long ago. Those were the days...
