Will go much quicker now. The longest part is the shipping.

100% agree. Even if it wasn’t bigger than I wanted, I still would have passed on it. The interior plastics felt really cheap to me. I could deal with the tail lights that I don’t like if I hadn’t hated the interior so much. The M50 did drive well though. I did like that I could get ventilated seats and actual leather, but it’s just so much larger than I wanted. The smaller cars are easier to deal with on busy streets and parking lots.

My dealer had a ton of '24 X3 30s, but after driving one it seemed like I was in a larger version of my current 330 but yet slower and more lumbering. Nothing exciting at ALL. I'm sure the M340 would have been great but they didn't have one to test and its interior is kind of out of date...though the new one seems too different, I just don't know. None of them really seemed great and until my kids are off my payroll I can't get something like the X3 M50, which performance-wise would probably make up for the styling. I was really bummed out as I just do not want another super low-slung sedan right now, and then I saw the X1/X2 M35s. My x1 M35 arrived in Baltimore Tuesday, so I hope it will make its way to Ohio soon. Maybe next week . I'm excited for sure. Last edited by Rayneman; 12-12-2024 at 04:04 PM.. |

My husband has an M340i so my brain and fingers were get all mixed up. 😬 If he didn’t have a sedan, I probably would have picked a M240i for myself rather than a small SUV or SAC. We need something that can actually carry more stuff. Heh. |

Bummer about the Wrangler. That was one of the cars I’ve always been semi-obsessed with dating all of the way back to when I was 16. Ha. |

As for the M240i, I originally wanted Thundernight but I may go with Vegas Red. Still undecided. Her Jeep is beautiful. Just wish it wasn’t so unreliable. (see last pic). Last edited by Baldilocks73; 12-12-2024 at 09:06 PM.. |

I don’t think there’s really a bad choice between Thundernight and Vegas Red. If I was going to do a color, those are the 2 I’d most seriously consider. I did briefly consider Storm Bay too. |

I tried to order 2 of the last 2024 X3's back in June but even though the online configurator was still up they told me "BMW rep confirmed that new 2024 X3 M40 ordering was ‘locked out’ from all dealers being able to place new 2024 M40 orders…it’s too close to the factory re-tooling next month for the new 2025" I love the looks of the X1 - just praying it doesn't feel like too much of downgrade. ps. I love the M240i as well and was torn on ordering it - very close in price |

I’m kinda jealous about the actual concealed armrest space! Maybe the open area won’t be as annoying as I think it will be, but I guess we will see when my car arrives.
