There are a couple of changes that I have come across so far. (November 24 M-Sport build, UK market)
Bootspace - The suspended flooring that can be folded away to reveal the deeper flooring, now only provides half the deeper floor space, not the entire floor as on previous models. Apparently this is due to the MHEV battery being located here now. USB-C Ports - I have two USB-C ports in the front right of the centre console, and two USB-C ports at the rear. - I'm not sure if these are what people are referring to as the data ports? |

That's interesting. When I mentioned this to the salesman at the handover he gave the impression it was part of a LCI upgrade, which I'm not even sure has occurred for the U11 variant yet. Admittedly, the rear boot space of the X1 I'd seen previously was an sDrive18d, which is MHEV also.

I’ve owned FWD, RWD, AWD 50/50 bias, and a pair of AWD front wheel biased cars. They all drove differently and if you treat them each as their own thing, I can find plenty to love in almost all of them. I WISH that more companies would understand that not everybody wants larger vehicles. Some of us actually do want a smaller vehicle with many of the same bells & whistles as their larger siblings. I can’t wait to get my X2 M35i even if I’m a bit pissed off that they removed the USB data support. |

I agree with the wishing leather was avail... don't know if you've ever had BMW ventilated seats before, but you're not missing anything there. I never used them when I had because you could barely tell they were doing anything at all.
Also, not really thrilled w the massage opt for anyone thinking of ordering... it basically just inflates and deflates the lumbar support, not real enjoyable ~ would prob skip that option in the future. |

My 2019 Acura RDX Advanced has Automatic ventilated front seats & work great. I use them in the warmer months, expecially on long drives. It’s my 1st vehicle with the feature & would have added it to my 24 x1 28i, if offered.

i drove an RDX when they first came out (actually right before I bought the X3) and I agree those vented seats were fantastic ... if that's your comparison / and BMW hasn't fundamentally changed the ventilation since I had it- you would be disappointed

Sad move from BMW regarding the removal usb digital storage capability of the front USBC ports. It's something I use on mine. (Build date 04/24). |
