i dont get what the point of moving away from classic bmw styling cues is... i
believe we've now had 6 versions of the front kidneys in the last 10 years... why?

the front looks genuinely horrid... and the rear is a honda accord

also we've probably had 5 versions of idrive... none of which seemed to have shown any real improvement over ID7

Yep. The inconsistency is stranger than the design choices. Totally different front ends on multiple newly designed vehicles. I wish I had the funding to buy an 8 series before they go bye bye. It's the last of the greats, designwise... IMO...

it makes my head boggle...

there are the 3 series standard kidneys, the G80 large kidneys, the huge x7 kidneys, the disgusting ix kidneys, the xm kidneys and the normal 5 and x5 kidneys... its like this company just absolutely doesn't know who it is anymore... 0 cohesion on the design... and like i said, the same thing happened w the interior w 15 different versions of idrive and screens... thats before you even talk about the fact that the 7 and x7 have split headlight designs and the other cars dont
