You go in the water waist deep, then they are hidden about an inch under the sand, use ur feet to feel underneath you, and scoop them out. Me and my buddy catch tons of them every summer, one time my friends and i caught a whole cooler full...

I love clams too. My cholesterol count does not. Any shell fish is great.

I am just goofing on you but are you actually catching them? Are they fast little suckers? I think you harvest clams.

LOL clams are slower than anything, i've never seen them move...they burrow under the sand, usually if you find 1, you'll find 2. Just dig in the sand with ur toes and if you feel it then kneel down and dig them out...
