Saw it, better then I was expecting! though ought to give me and some friends a few new joke lines to say to each-other, current favorite is "Only pussies run Nitro Meth",

Though One complaint: Yes the 1970 Charger was the saving grace of the first movie, but let the damn car die already... the end I was just like how can that car exist

Skip it!!! boring story, same damn old cars that were in the 1st movie, same locations & an inexperienced director.

I thought the 2nd one (2 fast 2 furious) was pretty good with Tyrese, Ludacris & Eva Mendes with John Singleton directing it.

I'd let Eva Mendes fart in my mouth.

the grand national was siiiick ..but i dont understand why did they keep doing action shots on the grand national's shifter like if it was manual or something

1.great movie loved it alot more action and story then cars witch i liked

2.i was making the turn at the light to pull in the movie theater and a 4 banger focus painted 17 different colors and a dragon on the side with a wing taller then big foot pulled up next to me and start reving its engine at me so i got pissed and revved myn (witch took the show and you could barely here the focus lol) i enjoyed it....winds up they were broads

3.waaaaaaaaay to many 12 years olds laughing and clapping at wrong times

4.why the F&*K didnt he drive the red gtr,he frikin drove the skyline stoopid paul walker (btw if anyone wants to know he took parts from the gtr and the other car and put them into the blue skyline)

5.My favorite part was when vin diesel got shot in the back turned around with this type of look and went after the guy twice as hard

my 2 cents

I loved the first one..haven't seen them since. I want to see the 4th one, but I have no friends that would ever go with me to see it....I'll wait to video. Just noticed Comcast has Tokyo Drift free on-demand...I think I'll watch it today.

Brian Spilner knew that the R35 GTR's gearbox would explode if he tried to launch it so he stayed away from that choice.

I get a kick out of reading stuff like this. I bet most of you are barely old enough to shave and yet talk a bunch of crap and you probably could not even check your own tire pressure. Oh i forgot you dont have to because your car does it for you.

I know more people with "ricers" that would eat probably 95% of ya'lls precious BMW lunches, Matter of fact i own one. I also own a BMW. BMW are nice to look at and nice to drive but as far as power and availability to build more power its just not out there. BMW are also 99 times more likely to break or have trouble than any of the "ricers"out there. IN my Honest opinion BMW are one of the most unreliable cars on the road which is why the warranty on a BMW is so good.

I also have a 1979 Z28 that i would put up against any of you in a 1/8th or 1/4 mile and never get out of second gear. I would also put my daughters "ricer" a 1997 Honda Accord against any you.

The All mighty attitude is why i don't frequent BMW sites, i only come to research the NEXT problem happening with the BMW so i can be looking for it.

I know a lot of you will try and knock me down so go ahead. A true car enthusiast knows what i have said is true.

A lot of the posts on this thread are from people whom have only a few post which tells me they don't have a real clue as to what goes on in the real car world.

Sure a lot of the scenes in the Fast and Furious series are a bunch of BS but i go to see the cars, the mods, the latest trends.

Where are the movies with the bad ass BMW's?

Anyhow just had to rant a little because of the inexperience, arrogance and snobbery i read on here. This is the main reason i DID NOT WANT a BMW, most peole who drive them have the same attiude. Matter of fact i wont drive our BMW unless she doesn't want to drive. I will drive my truck instead.

Don't get me wrong i am by no means a "ricer" lover i am American car all the way. But as for my daughters i bought them Hondas for the piece of mind.

thats all i have to say for now so bash away.

Yeah I didn't get that either. I guess he started out in a lower gear or something and then just upshifted when he picked up speed (same thing when you're going up a steep hill and downshift to a lower gear).

I agree with you that if one believes they are "too cool" to see this movie that they probably need to get over themselves and are doing nothing positive for the open minded members of the BMW community and are only contributing to the already existing stigma that BMW owners can suffer from but....
A lot of people talk this way because the vast majority of modified imports are indeed nothing but garbage. They are exactly as they are described...giant wings, annoying exhausts, crusty bodykits, neon lights, and 17 second timeslips. I have nothing but respect for a well built, tastefully done, performance oriented "import" but those are few and far between. I had one myself actually. Yeah, it was a Scion tC. Supercharged by Toyota themselves. Yeah, 3 motors, four superchargers, and denied warranty service on the 4th and 5th respectively later I decided to call it quits. All of those "repairs" came within a 10k mile period. The best recorded run by a similarly equipped car was no greater than 14.5.
I would guess that one would be hard pressed to possess and maintain a sub 14 second "import" like the Hondas you mentioned as a daily driver as they are certainly more prone to breakage and have no warranty. It is just not realistic. Now I own a mid 13 second daily driver with a warranty in my "snobby" BMW. WTF are we talking about here??
Of course there does exist other potent creations such as the S2k's and the STi's and the Evo's etc. but most of the "kids" who perpetuate the nonsense that exists within the "import scene" cannot afford such automobiles. So they adorn their cars with pieces to make it "look" fast in hopes of never having to prove that it actually is. That is what is being described here. This is not an "All Mighty" attitude. If it is, then fast, well built, tasefully done Honda Civic owners share this attitude as well. All while the neighbors' kid puts a watermelon launcher on his brand new Civic and later crashes it into a concrete barrier while losing a street race to his friend who was in his mom's Camry.
The Honda Civic modified to go as fast as a, lets say, stock 335i, will not have a warranty and will most likely break first. Even if the 3 breaks first...well, warranty.
I think I see where you are trying to come from but...
Anyways, so were they trying to imply as Paul Walker chose his 3 cars and then "wrenched" on them that he did a motor swap out of the R35? It still looked like an I6 but a point of interest to me nonetheless. Like most(Ithink), I saw this movie for the driving and the cars.
